Like old school shooters with strong guns and explory bits? Play DUSK!

So for the record I've never played a Bejewled type of puzzle game before, however I have played Tetris Attack many years ago and HuniePop's puzzle gameplay is similar in some regards.

So what is HuniePop you may ask? To me it's like a love letter from the days of Newgrounds dating sims. Just a lot more polished, great artwork, and amazing voice acting. The gameplay in itself can be quite addicting... Ok yes they made the girls actually enjoyable characters to be around with. You could relate to them as actual human beings... in a way.

There is one thing I do find a bit underwhelming is some of the dialogue. Hearing the same question does get a bit old. But hearing the voice actresses excellent voice work does negate that negativity a bit.

If there were a sequel or successor. I do hope for some more dialogue and perhaps other mini games that matches any of the new dates. Nothing like a bit more spice to add to an already excellent formula. I do hope to see more games from HuniePot.

It's Wolfenstein, it's got Nazis, secret Nazi projects unleashed on the world, the story is enjoyable, and of course it's a fun run and gun shooter. B.J is back.

There is some health regeneration though I ignored it for the most part since B.J can take a beating, no weapon limit, dual wield almost every single two handed weapon, several styles of play permitted. MachineGames put a lot of heart into this game and it trumps Wolfenstein 2009 (though that is still an enjoyable game). I wholeheartedly recommend it, especially as a Wolfenstein fan.

As a fan of the original Rise of the Triad, I have to say Interceptor Entertainment did a fantastic job in remaking this game. The humor is pretty humorous, the weapons are powerful, enemies (while dumb) are challenging and humorous, and the levels are fun, challenging, and actually have their own unique charm. The levels actually looks and plays like a real, but crazy, base of operations for the triads, even with some areas based on the original maps. If you like classic fast paced shooters with multiple characters to choose and lots of weapons to blow everything up, please pick this title up. While it's still a little buggy I have had a blast playing through this game.

I love horror games. Dead Space is pretty much the reason WHY you must pick your shots and conserve ammo. Sure it's not traditional horror where you'll be unnarmed and running away most of the time. Dead Space to me has shown me that even with a weapon you may still panic over one or two monsters sprinting towards you. You'll still try to run away while accurately dismembering necromorphs. It blends horror and action almost perfectly, by having the player being in full control of Isaac. Also the sequel an amazing title.

What HASN'T been said about this game. A great mix of Action and RPG, very fun and easy to get into. It has brought me a a lot of faith in not only EIDOS, but Square Enix as well. Can't wait for the DLC.
