Sunless Sea made me throw away all my caution with early access games, and for once it wasn't a mistake.

Firstly, it is almost finished: final review is supposed to come early february, 2015. Secondly, updates are worth it and not just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tweaks covering an upcoming flee from the devs.

It's some sort of exploration, survival with an amount of trade and an amazing storytelling (winning the Best Words award of Rock, paper, shotgun for a reason). The ambience is dark, often intriguing, sometimes funny, always immersive.

It's definitely worth playing now, and will certainly be even more in its final form.
