Nerver actually played JSR or JSRF more than a few minutes, but know both the music and the series, and as far as comments go, it lives up to the expectations as a spiritual sucessor for the series.

But I never played those, so as much as the buzz around that is what has drawn me to the game, I can't really care about that. The thing is, the game is just pure fun. It's satiisfying, and the story is goofy, but engaging. The characters are really charming. Chaining tricks is super chill, and the soundtrack is just a hit that adds to the whole ambience. Barely advanced through the story just due to searching for every graffiti spot in the first area.

Kinda weird to finish this this way, but this hits the same itch ULTRAKILL hits for me: a game that just wants to be fun and for you to have a good time with it. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a fun game, no matter what legacy comes before it or what expectations one wants it to live up to. Simply just another Team Reptile gem.

Super chill and fun on a casual level or if you're just a fan of rhythm games in general, and genuinely challenging if you're into that sorta thing, too.

Uh, who would've thought, it's actually pretty hard not to blink with tears in your eyes.

Very cute and charming puzzle platformer with a very heartwaming little message. Gameplay is super fun, main point is that jumping toggles between two versions of the envionment with different hazards, but it adds other twists on it as it goes along, using clever tricks and challenging puzzles, and it is not super easy to complete all of them.

Length is perfect, so it doesn't drag it out to the point of making the mechanics boring or stale, neither starts adding overly complex puuzles for the sake of it, a problem I had with Baba is You.

Super recommend, and I'd definitelly buy a DLC with more levels as fine tuned as those in the main game.
In short, the perfect example of why the indie industry carries gaming nowadays: a little game that doesn't fear trying something different, even if it is something that hundreds of people may have thought of before, but never actually made it.

If you didn't get tthe message, pay attention to the level titles and subtitles near the end

In short, It's fun. Super fun. It's all you need to know.

Long answer, yes, it has some technical issues, yes, it is mostly a console port, and yes, it is kinda strange to see Sonic in semi realistic settings with platforms and stuff floating. But, god, is it fun. It's been ages since I've spent this much time in a singleplayer game, and I haven't enjoyed a Sonic game this much since I was a kid playing Sonic Unleashed.

It also looks more beautiful than it has any right to. The lighting and shading and colors is really, really good.

There's a bunch of nods to old Sonic games, and combat feels like they turned Sonic into a shonen protagonist, and this is a compliment. It is not really hard, and there's never a group comprised of differente enemy types, which is a bummer, nbut it is really fun. The boss fights are also really cinematic.

Writing is good and I feel like it's the first time in ages Sonic characters were taken seriously and not just cracking jokes. Nothing that deep, it's still a Sonic game after all, but it is compeling and interesting enough, specially since it is been long since the Chaos Emeralds actually had any relevance in the story.

Overall, if you like Sonic and platforming, I can't recommend this enough.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot it. It has a FISHING MINIGAME WITH BIG THE CAT.

Still only halfway through the game but thoroughly enjoying it. Really cool concept and the puzzles are really fun, and there's some pretty clever writing in the dialogue. You get a little bit of extra enjoyment if you are a programmer and get all of the puns and stuff.

The art style is really cute and consistent, and I enjoy the soundtrack more than I even expected.

The game also has a big deal of replayability with the 3 types of extra challenges: each level has collectable bugs (again, another programming related pun). Blue ones are awarded by using only a certain minimum amount of switches between Toodee and Topdee, which vary per level. Red ones are collected by finishing the level in a certain amount of time, and levels with enemies have an extra pink one, awarded by finishing the level without killing any of them.

Overall, this is a great example of what makes indie games so good: they actually try to do different things and always remember the core value of gaming in general, which is being fun and entertaining.

Still a few bugs, but nothing that leaving the lobby and getting back in can't fix.

Gamemode is fun and the new cosmetics are cool, and the price is pretty cheap. Totally worth it, and the devs are already working on the remaining bugs.

Really slept on due to the other two most popular Golf games. Really fun, cheap game, that has a lot of potential to grow. Didn't try the editor yet, but the few communnity maps we tried were pretty good. Ball customization is also great.

This game can be described in one word: (G)old

Despite more than 5 years since launch, this game is still awesome to spend some time with your friends. There's always something new to try, be it a game mode that you have never seen before, or a community made mod. Price is still a bit too high, but it's always at around 70% disccount during sales, so no prob.
