Having played a good chunk of CRPGs since the originals I have to say that this is my favorite one. If CRPG is your jam and you haven't played this game then get on it!

Solid 9/10

Really fun tower defense game that hits the spot quite nicely. I enjoy TD a lot and rarely do I like standalone games (not a custom map in WCTFT, SC2) so it is a real pleasure when one catches my attention and holds it. There are a lot of maps, play styles, upgrades, and modes which makes it a full experience with a lot of replayability. It also offers 2 player co-op which is the reason my buddy and I got the game and we are both very glad we did. It is mainly your standard TD with slight RTS elements that are just enough to add something to the experience but not enough to take away from the more pure TD experience. All in all I would say as far as standalone TD games this is a solid 9/10. It also helps that the devs regularily update the game and show a real interest in listening to the community and making it the best experience possible.

Great game, great co-op, lots of replayability. 9/10

Bought for a dollar and have no intention of paying money into the micro-transaction shenanigans. With that being said, this is a full on tower defense game with co-op! It is a lot of fun. If you want to play some TD alone or with up to three buddies I highly recommend this game. Lots of different towers (monkeys) to choose from with a wide range of abilities. There is also meaningful and satisfying progression to leveling up and getting new heroes without having to pay extra. It looks like the game goes on sale for a dollar every major steam sale so if you don't want to pay full price just wait for the next sale and it will be a dollar.

I played the original Resident Evil 2 on the PSX when it was released and was hoping (but not fully expecting) to get the same game I played so long ago with updated graphics/audio and controls without changing much (if anything) else.

Thank you Capcom; you delivered beyond my wildest hopes. This game is a HUGE success and that RE engine is spectacular!

Don't own it? BUY IT!

A remarkably solid co-op tower defense game for only a dollar! Six very large levels that offer a variety of places to build up your defense; they are so large that you could easily get three or four completely different runs on each map. The tower mechanic is a wonderful 3D mess of walls and (as my buddy and I call them) gangle towers which provide for some very interesting tower builds. There are a good amount of towers while you get XP during game play that unlocks towers and their upgrades. So, the more you play the wider variety of towers and powerful upgrades are available as permanent unlocks that follow from map to map.

It is a super solid game and then add in the fact that is only $1 and you have yourself a little 'hidden gem' TD game. Go for it!

Everything is meh about this game. Feels like a generic shooter that doesn't know what it wants to be and takes nothing of worth from its clear inspirations. Played 11 hours with a friend co-op and we both decided there is no point. If you haven't picked this up I suggest to skip it.

Gun-play is meh.
Story is meh.
Level design is meh.
Graphics are meh.

This is the best game in its genre by a long shot - nothing even comes close. If you were to mash up tower defense with Diablo atmosphere and ARPG mechanics this is what you would get. If that sounds good to you then don't hesitate and buy this game already. The worst thing about it is that there has been no sequel five years later. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I never cared for Counter Strike which this seems to be compared to. RB6 Siege has SO MUCH more than CS could ever offer from a consistently and meaningfully updated engine with new levels without having to buy a new game and ever expanding operators to boot. The destruction mechanics add a whole new depth to this smash hit FPS while terrorist hunt is still in there from the Rainbow Six glory days and a more traditional versus mode which can be played casual or ranked.

It may have had problems in its early days but this game has become a mature title that deserves to go in the hall of fame of MP FPS games. Truly a masterpiece that a little bit of time to show its true colours. Good on you Ubisoft for sticking with it and ensuring it because such an awesome title and a absolute smash hit.

I will be playing this for a long time to come.

Early Access Review
Summary:
I know it is early access and really we have no idea what the end product will be in these days of devs changing core elements for the release or just not having a release period. I have been burned more times than I care to admit, although I must say that more have blown me away so I continue to make informed early access purchases in hope for game like Maximum Action and holy science this game is one freakin' awesome romp through a$$ 80s style.

It employs a decent physics based system with destructible environments being phased in and a serious arsenal. The main mechanics are pretty awesome although could use some polishing. One HUGE plus is that they had the foresight to get some great modding tools out early so while they add new core content and overhaul the engine there is more than enough killer content for us customers.

Conclusion:
If you like the max payne bullet time mechanic with a twist and absolutely blowing away dudes with a killer arsenal and non-stop action with almost limitless possibilities this is definitely for you. As it is in early access I might wait for a sale as it is still early days, but for a decent price this game is already very much worth it.

One of the best online shooters currently available. With the downfall of the Battlefield series this game takes the number one spot for the genre in my eyes. The developers are continually pumping out free content, optimisations, and bug fixes which is amazing. If there is a MP FPS to support and put your time into rather than Battlefield this is the game to do so. It has gone from a good game to an absolute masterpiece since its release.
