Standing in a hallway waiting for an eldritch horror to run at us only to get my brains splattered by one of the lads.

This game has some very good gameplay that's extremely satisfying at its best...

...however...

what certain items and stats do isn't well explained (or explained at all), the biomes and bosses are very repetitive and the procedurally generated stages need a serious overhaul. You will often fail shards purely because of poorly generated terrain that more often than not will leave you bumping into everything and losing too much momentum to recover, unfair obstacles that are practically impossible to predict, or a mixture of the two.

The first few hours were a blast but as the game bumped up the difficulty, these issues started to become very frustrating and apparent. Sometimes it's my bad for failing but often it's a result of the stage generation.


Also the snake boss is not very fun and needs a serious rework.

Would spend 2 hours trying to build 20< walls again

Cool game, very fun concept but the respawn system needs a lot of work. You could be waiting up to nearly an hour to respawn while players who died after you get revived constantly.
