Skeumorphism run amok and difficult controls. Nearly every board game, card game, or TTRPG has a superior method for paying over the internet that isn't trying to just recreate a table in 3D. It's the same central issue with "the metaverse"; by trying to recreate an existing experience inside a computer, it forgets that there are limitless possibilities that don't need to hew to what was and can explore what could be. Once the novelty wears off, most players will switch to a more traditional game client.

Also, the devs are bigots.

It's a good recreation of the physical card game. It lacks some of the functions of the existing online version (no running log next to the game table, no way to see the full text of each card in the kingdom all at once, no way to see everyone's final deck at the end) but I like that you get 1-2 free expansions to try each week. It keeps it fresh, and helps maximize the number of synergies by keeping the kingdom limited to only a few expansions in the randomizer at a time.

Half science, half lego, half NASA, half star trek. 100% Fun. One of the few games to come out in recent years that provides a true challenge to the player without hand-holding nor bludgeoning. KSP offers something that is not (and perhaps cannot) be offered by the AAA publishers.
