It had the same problem that Cyberpunk 2077 had. Expectations. This game is all about expectations. Are you a Bethesda or a No Man's Sky fan like me, then you will love this game. Are you looking for the best RPG that deserves the AAA price, then no.

Boring talk for the fans: I loved the planet exploration and the space battles, that is what made me grind to level 100, the gameplay loop around it fits me.
Exiting the ship and seeing those massive gas giants in the sky, shining their blue, orange or white light over the moon you are in by night. Purple, orange and pink sands mixed with strange colored fogs, truly amazing. I never had a game with such screenshot material.
Oh and the ships... The possibilities are endless. I ended the game with a Millenium Falcon adaptation (tutorials on YT) and I never felt so cool doing those space battles, even dowgrading to laser weapons to be more like Star Wars.

TLDR: It's a classic 7/8 Bethesda game, but it will become a classic I hope.

Wish: Please make Starfield 2, the foundation is set, you can go back to the Narion War or Colony War. Create future civilizations in distant stars, etc.

If it wasn't for the FarmVille stuff this would be 10/10. Soundtrack on point, songs that you will remember forever, spirits with great personalities that make you feel "things" when it's time to let go. All the cozy vibes from the Indie games are there and it's perfect for those cold late night gaming sessions. You just have to go to bed with watery eyes though.

It's okay, if I had a second monitor this would go there while doing something else like a stream.

But it's a mobile game. Clearly! Like in the first day I saw "the wall".

You want to play but there is really no point unless you want to progress the season level but in the casual matches it's 50/50 with clear scripted matches.

Conquest mode is fun because you get to know your opponent and you have very tight matches (maybe because of script too) but the rewards make you play for too much time.

But seriously, this conspiracy of mine, I don't know if I'm the only one, as soon as I built the decks from the guide (ongoing deck, dinosaur deck, discard deck, etc) you either get a guy with same deck or the actual counter to it, 50/50.

Before I installed this I told my self "do not make this a game where you come here everyday just to do dailys and then leave" so today after a last win I pressed the button.

This is it. The end of a saga. What a great underrated game. Thanks Stoic for this amazing story. This review will talk about the 3 games.
I gotta say that when I bought The Banner Saga (first one) I didn't expect much but I got addicted instantly. I loved the gameplay and combat system. The travels and the stories along the way were awesome. The only problem if it is a problem at all was the fewer battles that the game had, since the combat system was so good I wanted more.
The Banner Saga 2 was an improvment. We start to see the real threat in the story and we try to survive and make hard choices along the way. More combat than the previous entry also.
And finally The Banner Saga 3 where we get to know the end to this beautiful saga. Lots of combat, hard choices, sacrifice and intense moments until the end.
For a kickstart project that I heard back in 2014 I will never regret buying all these games.

I hope I conviced you to buy this game. If you like chill night games, turn based combat, survival, choice making, good OST and great lore then this game fits that description.

Atmosphere, enemy types, plot, gameplay, survival... This game was really ahead of his time and it stays today as a really enjoyable experience. Every buidling has a story, every faction has a cause, the world doesn't feel empty even if the location of the game is the Mojave.

Edit: After replaying it and going trough the DLCs to get the completionist, careful with Old World Blues, made me lose 4 hours of gameplay and frustated me into uninstalling it because I got stuck in a famous loop bug and I used commands on accident thinking I would still get the achievments.

TLDR: Makes lots of saves because sometimes they can get corrupted
