It is a pretty good game. I might uninstall it now that I got all the achievements but it has replayability, many hours of game and tactical challenges. The devs should work on the endgame a bit, it feels unfinished and the story doesn't flow well enough. I guess they didn't expect many to reach there? Some tooltips are placeholders even lol. Anyway it's no big deal. Also I am sad that multiplayer duels are practically dead. I played with a buddy and they seemed fun. Campaign on very hard feels easy, skirmishes on very hard are indeed very hard.

B+ title, recommended for those who enjoy this genre!

In classic 'leave no stone unturned' fashion, I discovered a somewhat secret place (because 80% of my friends who finished the game missed it).
I don't think I ever played a game before where I notice such a cool reference to an oldschool song.

Best game I've played in a LONG time. Props to Larian too for fixing the various glitches (that do exist).

Fantastic game, adequately challenging, loyal to the lore, good amount of hours to complete, only 1 rare graphical bug that fixes on restart and many xeno bugs to destroy and feel proud you serve the Omnissiah.

Masterwork of a game

The Ascent would be a 9/10 if it wasn't for the numerous bugs it has and you encounter them early even. Ranging from silly (e.g. shows you have 2 items of something if you equip your only pair, but unequipped it says 1 lol), to annoying (collected skins disappearing after logging out..?), to flat out destroying your entire progress (char progress wiped), these bugs make the game undeserving of suggesting it.

Neon Giant needs to get on with bugfixing asap, I will change my review when this (hopefully) happens, because I'm really looking forward to finishing this with my friends and without problems.

edit 1: Did finish the game after all. Several more bugs. Guns getting stuck and unable to shoot if you tried to shoot during the animation of an aug. Some of the UI vanishing after elevator if you're tabbed. Some achievements bugged. Ah well. Once again, the game IS very enjoyable, sucks you in, kinda challenging too, but those blasted bugs can be a huge bummer. At least for me.

Absolute masterpiece of a game, and one of the cutscenes even managed to give me goosebumps (the good kind).
Worth every penny 11/11.

11/11 flawless game in my opinion, Zach is a genius and you will feel just a bit smarter yourself once you complete it :D
