'Sunset. Or maybe dawn? Who knows..', Cuddlepie thought.
It felt like days ago when he and his friends last saw the sky. They had been crushing and slashing their way through zombies and skeletons for too long, way too long. Mr Jingles had already fallen... Wouldn't be long before fatigue got the best of him also.
'Damn our luck..', he mumbled. Their cart crashed probably at the worst place ever. He just knew that cottage was bad news. He could feel it, and his fears proved correct when the dead appeared and never stopped coming. They had hoped it would be just a few, easy to get rid of. But that was just wishful thinking.

Boppsy made a tough decision, but it was the right one. Perhaps someone else would have ignored the sinister laughs and the cries for help from the cottage and just run away. But not them. It was obvious that whatever evil lurked inside the cottage had to be dealt with, once and for all.
'By me beard, young lady, FOCUS!'. His thoughts were interrupted by Boppsy's fierce voice.
'I am trying, you silly dwarf! I already put that giant skeleton in the other cell, do you think teleporting others is as easy as swinging a hammer?' The wizard replied
'Perhaps you 'd like to do it then!', Boppsy laughed back, while breaking another skeleton in pieces. 'Cuddlepie, are you ready?'
'Always, brother', I replied.

We had finally reached the last chamber of the cottage and I was staring at the evil necromancer for some time now, only few meters ahead of me, yet so far away. The lava between us was impassable. I was exhausted but I was also ready to strike with my most powerful combo. Boppsy was right behind me, succesfully holding off the endless waves of the necromancer's minions at the narrow corridor between the two jail cells. The young, imprisoned wizard was in one of the cells, trying her best to help Boppsy and teleport me next to the necromancer for the fatal blow.
The necromancer was mocking us, throwing spells without caring if we die now or later...

'Finally!!!', I heard a faint yell. And time stopped
I tried my best to hold my senses. I had prepared my all out attack and now I also had the perfect block ready. My vision blurred and a split second later I was next to the evil necromancer. He didn't seem worried nor afraid I was next to him and he lifted his weapon to crush me down...
No, I wasn't expecting that. In my surprise I desperately threw my shield up while dashing on the right. It blocked his swing and he lost his balance, and he wasn't ready at all for my reckless swing that hacked him from shoulder to bottom.

The chaos had stopped.

RNG, as much as I f#!@&% hate you, Card Hunter has also taught me to love you.

Imagine yourself lost in a dangerous forest... Suddenly you find a hut to sleep in. You enter the door and a bear kills you. Why was the bear in there, you 'll never know. Somehow you get a second chance in doing that. This time you are wiser. You check through the windows carefully to see if there's any bear inside. You see nothing. You open the door and A BEAR KILLS YOU AGAIN. God laughs at you. That's what rogue's tale is like.

Eventually, all the ''sorry buddy, you just gotta die'' mentality got to me. I suppose too much RNG in a game is not my cup of tea. You will enjoy this game only if you get some twisted sense of happiness out of losing even though you don't deserve to lose.
