This is one of those perfect games. I maxed it on xbox some time ago, now im maxing it on steam. Hades is a must-buy or must-play if you prefer other term.

Great art, great story, great voice acting, great gameplay and mechanics. I just love this game. I didnt see any bugs either... except one. If my gamepad turned off during run (timeout because i had to pause and do something else) then turning it on again didnt work (pad worked in windows but hades rejected it). But thats it basicaly, except that everything runs smoothly.

Early Access Review
Currently in early access i feel like this game is a chore, i don't like game i play to relax and find some loot to be a chore. Also i do not like idea that i need to reply campaign over and over again, i know this is the standard but campaign is also a chore and it annoy me more and more with every game. Also its in early access so stuff is unbalanced.

Game do not have many bugs so that is nice but it worry me even more, it is not nice by design, im affraid it will not change.

I will check in few weeks or month if it is good enough yet, but right now idea of playing camapaign again (here and in poe 1) gives me shivers, campaigns should be optional in game like that.

This game got me addicted quickly. Scary at the start but later not scary at all. Nice garage mood for upgrading car. When you know what you are doing its almost chillout game. Also nice new idea. Refreshing.

Oh i forgot to review. I played this some time ago and what i remember is huge disappointment. I loved DoW1, DoW2 was different but still good. DoW3 is just sad example how much game creators do not know what gamers want.

One of the best games i ever played. Story is great and acting is very nice, even side dialogues are good.

Its not perfect, there were some minor bugs but very few, nothing gamebreaking. Also as a completionist i have some minor complaints, there were too many armors and chests to collect and after some time i just didnt remember what is where so i had to collect them all with help from web because searching them manualy was not pleasant. One raven was hidden too well for me and made me waste some time, one armor i think had a bug or i missed one chest and wasted even more time trying to find it without help.

Also there is not enough resources after finishing the game to upgrade everything so its better to focus on some favourites and discard not wanted stuff.

But that are some minor complaints, game is great. Couldnt stop until i have done everything.

Game looks fine, animations are nice, gameplay is not for me. But this censorship in chat and game currency stuff is not something to recommend.

So you tell me i wont be even able to read what im crafting because infinite zombies and slimes will constantly try to eat my leg? That was basically first and only experience so far. I tried to make door or wall to shield me from them, then figured out wall passed them through. I prefer something more relaxing, pass.

At this moment single player on veteran is just a horrible experience. Im at the end of campaign but it was any other game i would uninstall it.

Positives:
- game is pretty
- its warhammer, ultramarines and 1k sons, my two armies i collect for tabletop

Negatives
- i started with veteran difficulty solo and that was huge mistake, its not hard, its simply broken
- "single player" expect you to play with people so you are always stuck with bots, i do not like this trend, where is my solo experience
- enemies attack mostly player, even if bot is much closer, that means you are always under heavy fire and without life when bots are singing cumbaya with enemy
- enemies even if defeat stronger foe, they usually do not finish them. That is sometimes good because when you execute enemy you get armour, but in practice it means that enemy is stunned for a while and then back to action because you are bussy by other enemies.
- health and armour is almost useless, i lose almost all of it in every encounter and then fight with 5% of health, that last 5% is now somehow stronger than previous 95%. And executing for armour is meaningless because you basically loose it immediately after execution
- most shooting weapons are useless, maybe for smaller tyranids, but bigger ones need few ammo clips to die so usually you need more ammo than you carry for most encounters.
- melee feels bad, block rarely works, i just go close combat to see i loose most of my health because everything is shooting in my back
- most encounters i just roll or hide and wait for bots to stun some enemies then run to execute them and back to hidding, or i cannot stop rolling because everything is jumping at me
- i just die all the time and see how bot casually revive me standing near carnifex, while i cannot be 10 meters from carnifex becase he jump me at once
- enemies are infinite, until you kill that one guy, hope you know which one, sometimes i repeated very hard encounter only to find out that when you change order of killing thing its now relatively easy encounter
- single player game restarted my boss fight at 80% completion, because game went offline, wtf. after that restart, those 80% that was very very hard for the first time and i spent half an hour there, the second time was finished in few minutes and was now easy. What?
- im finishing the campaign soon and im still waiting for story to come, i mean story looks well at first glance, but the longer i think about it the less real story i see. Most of dialogue is:
- lieutenant, you hide something
- shut up and eat you cereal
It gets boring after some time. And except pretty graphics i see not much more there yet. Maybe at the end of game they will reveal something more.
- single player have no unlocks, no skills, no progression

Ok let me finish there. I assume they will fix difficulty issues and then this review will not be valid anymore, but now solo veteran is broken. Also maybe pvp will be good but i usually do not enjoy multiplayer so i have little hope there. Im yet to try campaign with friends, that might be good, but i want single player to be playable too. Im mostly solo player.

UPDATE:
I played some co-op (no pvp yet) and things get better but not great yet.

Positives
- Finaly some progression, moar armour details, moar colors
- Playing with friends is fun
- Figthing Tyranids is better than 1k sons

Negatives
- difficulty still broken, friends help but it feel bad sometimes, shooting rubric 10 times in face with plasma pistol and not killing him feels bad
- enemies are too tanky
- tzaangors are way too tanky, those shields are broken. I have tzaangor models and shield give them ocasional miracle save, but not that often.
- i dont like menus, i mean when i browse weapons on class menu i sometimes change settings without noticing and forget to set it back, then im stuck with bad choices
- i dont like class restrictions, i mean when you grind class A but its taken by other player you are forced to choose something else. On surface its not terrible but on higher difficulties it can be very bad to take low level class. And you choose class after difficulty in case of conflict.
- is there a friend list in game? we contact outside game only, also its hard to choose if you want to start operation from beginning or be thrown in the middle of it with some randoms. After game you are in same team and you need to disconnect to upgrade your character in peace. Its because there is no proper lobby in this game. I prefer Darktide approach here with friend list, recent players list, and no class restriction. Or some checkbox when searching game "do not change character class" at least.

For now i will leave review as negative but i assume further updates will change it into positive. I want to play and like this game. Just fix difficulty and add some QoL.

I like x-com type games and i never played JA before so i thought i should fix my error and tried JA3.

At first i thought its great. Later i thought its kinda like baldurs gate with guns, not exactly xcom. Later got frustrated few times due to sudden difficulty spikes without proper warning and annoying resource management. Then i thought that i do not like African setting, rpg elements, humour and this feeling im fighting with junk, chase clock, run out of money etc.

In the end i asked myself is it fun for me, i have bazylion other games in queue so why this one, and it seems there is not much for me here. I would prefer better equipment, base building, more anonymous fighters, not rpg characters and fighting in African junkyard.

So lets end my suffering and uninstall.

Game is great ofc but im still in first act because i am overthinking completionist. Im looking under every rock just in case i missed something that will be important later. So it seems my biggest problem with this game (except my stupid brain) is dividing it into act causing me to fear of missing out so i never went futhter.

Also i didnt play lately (other games are fun too) because i was scared i would mess some quests and block some paths.

But all that are ME problems not game problems, i just need to get my brain straight and finish damn game :P
