AI-slop trying to piggyback off the success of counter-strike and valorant, the menu's are insanely busy, microtransactions thrown in your face every time you enter/exit lobbies, bots in ranked, the cards add a level of variance that removes the actual skill people use in most of these games, doesn't make it any more fun, game will be dead/shut down within a few years.

Compared to the previous entries in the souls series, this game is entirely unique, aside from the gameplay, only to round things out is the fact that nearly everything is hidden in this game, everything is cryptic and without a guide there's absolutely no way to figure everything out, I needed to look up certain areas that required insane directions to get through, map pieces being hidden to veil everything in a fog so that you can't even see where you are unless you find the map piece specifically, which is usually notated by a small stone on the map anyway, its silly, the game is more tedium than actual enjoyment, at some point in the game you will be tired of the "powercreep" that bosses and such receive, so you'll either need to be insanely patient and on top of your game to slowly wither them down, or go grind enemies like many people do, so that you can level up your character, find gear that can somewhat help you through and beat the game, its nothing like any of the previous souls games in the regards that you can actually progress through it and level naturally with the enemies you encounter, you actively need to go out of your way and then backtrack on a confusing platform to continue with the game, the visuals were stunning, as was the music, a lot of the characters and bosses are very unique, so I'll give it that, but in terms of how much "fun" I had, I think it was probably one of the worst entries fromsoft has released in that sense, it was more of "how far can I level myself up, find weapons and then said material to upgrade them and then upgrade my ashes so that I have an assistant to remove aggro from the bosses at times". I think every souls entry had a lot more character and although they may be more linear than what this game gave us, it still was far more charming and enjoyable than what I went through, in less than 62 hours I managed to power my way through the game by just looking at guides on where to go next, towards the end of the game you'll face a boss gauntlet in some of the most annoying atmosphere ever, with the worst enemies, if you thought Blight Town was bad, I think crumbling farum azula tops it, probably the most lazy and boring design of a map ever, just to top it with some of the most boring enemies, its just the most consumer-friendly ragebait chongslop you'll find, hence why it was so popular, hopefully the next entry sees a return to form, variety may be the spice of life but once you add too much, you've ruined the pot.

Low effort game that tries to copy a mixture of mario kart and fall guys, just a laggy racing game that doesn't make much sense, obviously has cash grab battle passes featured immediately, only reason I bothered to try it is my love of penguins.

Even after releasing a paid expansion, Amazon Games doesn't understand how servers work and force half their playerbase to wait in 2 hour long queues, good luck if you waited and then lagged out, you'll just have to wait again.
