Control is an enthralling supernatural story which focuses on the actions on Jesse Faden in her newly inherited role as director of the FBC (Federal Bureau Of Control) as she searches for answers to events in her past while preventing a mysterious malevolent entity known as "The Hiss" from corrupting the bureau completely.

Pros:
+Great Story: The story does a great job explaining the supernatural events taking place within the FBC & their relation to Jesse's past all while setting up the premise that there are greater dark forces at work behind the scenes.
+Great Graphics: The many areas which make up The Oldest House are all uniquely rendered in their supernatural beauty.
+Excellent Combat: The excellent blending of gunplay along with Jesse's range of psychic powers allow for fluid combat when taking on a range of enemies & bosses.
+Great Controls: The controls are precise & responsive when traversing The Oldest House or combating enemies further complementing gameplay.
+Great Soundtrack: The soundtrack definitely complements the look & feel of the game. "Take Control by Old Gods Of Asgard" blasting while you navigate "The Ashtray Maze" definitely makes for an enjoyable experience.

Cons:
-Certain bosses can be annoying to fight especially since their difficulty comes mainly from the damage they inflict rather than pattern of attacks, range, attack type, etc.
-Puzzle gameplay is simple & gets repetitive after a while. It also doesn't make use of all Jesse's abilities.
-Outfits while cool, could have been better implemented to boost certain aspects of Jesse's stats aiding in combat or traversal within the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a great yet dark story which centers around the exploits of Cal Kestis as he searches for a way to rebuild the Jedi Order while dealing with the fallout following the events of Order 66.

Pros:
+Great Story: The story while dark, accurately represents the period of time in which things look grim for the Jedi as well as the galaxy as a whole.
+Great Graphics: The planets which you will visit throughout the story are all uniquely rendered in all their beauty.
+Great Combat: The combat makes excellent use of a wide range of Cal's lightsaber & force wielding skills to take on enemies. The skill tree is also well implemented and complements combat.
+Good Controls: The controls while simple & responsive most of the time, can sometimes feel a bit imprecise when traversing certain areas or taking on groups of enemies.
+Good Soundtrack: The soundtrack complements the look and feel of the game while exploring or in combat also use of "The Hu- Sugaan Essena" as Cal's favourite song was cool.

Cons:
-Performance Issues: Although not game breaking, there were some occasional stutters when traversing certain areas or dealing with certain enemies.
-Cosmetics: Ponchos seem like an afterthought with most of them being rather unappealing or copy/paste color & pattern variations of each other.

Vampyr is an alluring tale of vampires & morality which takes place in a beautifully grim 1918 London setting. The way in which Dr. Jonathan Reid's choices influence the story are very well executed. One can either choose to be the creature of the night or suppress the vampiric urge while fighting to save London from the epidemic.

Pros:
+Great Story: The story while grim can be influenced in such a way by the main protagonist's actions as to have a multitude of endings, some good and others tragic. It helps to emphasize the whole dynamic of actions & consequences.
+Great Graphics: The London setting of 1918 looks beautifully grim as you wander the streets at night which compliments the story and characters.
+Good Combat: The combat makes good use of Jonathan's vampiric powers which develop throughout the story as well as melee and ranged weapons for dealing with enemies.
+Good Controls: The game's controls are simple & responsive complementing gameplay when in combat or when traversing the streets of London.
+Good Soundtrack: The soundtrack fits the dark & eerie feel of the game.

Cons:
-While the combat system is good when confronting normal enemies, during boss battles it can feel sometimes clunky & imprecise, allowing for failed attacks and the player taking unnecessary damage.
-The investigation side quests throughout the game can get boring since most of the time they follow the same rinse and repeat formula.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a beautiful yet grim tale which takes place in a stunning medieval french setting. The game manages to blend immersive storytelling along with stealth gameplay & hordes of rats for a wonderful experience. Amicia is both a courageous & memorable heroine as she fights to protect Hugo from the Inquisition while struggling for a way to cure him.

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2173501562
Pros:
+Excellent Story: A story of struggle, sacrifice & tragedy as Amicia tries to protect her brother from the Inquisition's schemes.
+Excellent Graphics: The grim yet beautiful French landscape simply complement the story & gameplay.
+Great Combat: The game while being stealth focused allows combat to an extent involving the use of Amicia's sling and its range of alchemical projectiles which has different effects on enemies.
+Great environmental based puzzles which makes additional use of Amicia's sling thus adding to the gameplay experience.
+Great Controls: The game's controls are simple & responsive complementing combat & puzzle solving.
+Great Soundtrack: The soundtrack complements the grim backdrop of the game.

Cons:
-Limited additional content which could have just been added to the main game and not packaged as a DLC.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a dark yet beautiful tale based in Norse mythology. The game manages to captivate the player as you follow Senua on her quest through Hel to save a loved one's soul while dealing with her own mental illness and crippling psychosis.

Pros:
+Excellent Story: A captivating story detailing the struggles of Senua on her quest.
+Excellent Graphics: The grim yet beautiful visuals simply compliment the story & gameplay.
+Great Combat: The combat system makes good use of light & heavy attacks as well as a solid defense.
+Great perspective based puzzles which allows the player to alter certain aspects of the world.
+Good Controls: The game's controls are simple & responsive complementing combat & puzzle solving.
+Excellent soundtrack which features the work of Andy LaPlegua of Combichrist.

Cons:
-Horrible camera angles at times that simply hinders combat can make gameplay frustrating.
-The puzzle elements may become boring by the end of the game since they can be repetitive.
-Not much replay value apart from achievement hunting in the event you missed a lorestone for the "Stories From the North" achievement.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is another beautiful gem in the Assassin's Creed franchise. Kassandra is an excellent female protagonist in the series, both strong & beautiful.

Pros:
+Excellent Graphics. Ancient Greece simply looks stunning in all its grandeur. The epic landscape makes for a screenshot lovers paradise.
+Excellent Story. The story while set in an epic world manages to remain very human and emotional at times.
+Excellent Combat. The combat system builds on certain aspects of its predecessor Assassin's Creed Origins allowing for satisfying combat when chaining together moves or executing enemies. The skill tree is also well implemented to keep combat fresh & rewarding.
+Great Controls. The game's controls are very responsive and helps to compliment combat system allowing for a great experience.
+Excellent orchestral soundtrack which truly complements the game's rendition of ancient Greece.
+Excellent voice-over work for all the main characters. (Melissanthi Mahut truly brings the character of Kassandra to life).

Cons:
-Poor dialogue choices at times throughout the game felt somewhat unnecessary, would have loved to have some better options to choose from.

Darksiders III is a great third installment in the franchise despite some of the drawbacks which the game possesses. Fury is a sassy yet memorable heroine as she progresses throughout the game.

Pros:
+Great graphics. The game's environment is rendered in great post-apocalyptic detail. Fury looks beautiful while her enemies, the seven deadly sins are rendered in unique detail.
+Great story which is somewhat satisfying as Fury uncovers the truth behind events taking place while addressing some of her flaws.
+Great gameplay which allows for satisfying combat and traversal of the in-game world using hollow powers & weapons you acquire throughout the story. Enhancements can also be added to weapons making them more effective during combat.
+Good controls which are responsive both when in combat and traversing the in-game world.
+Great orchestral soundtrack which fits the post-apocalyptic world of the game and its vile enemies.

Cons:
-Bad camera angles and controls at times, especially when taking on groups of enemies.
-The game feels more confined, especially when compared to previous installments in the franchise.
-Nothing to really bring you back after initial playthrough.

P.S.

Remember Me is a truly beautiful cyberpunk game. The game is memorable both in terms of its wonderful protagonist Nilin along with its beautiful yet gritty setting of futuristic Neo-Paris.

Pros:
+Great graphics. Neo-Paris as well as its characters are rendered in beautiful futuristic detail.
+Great story which sees the main protagonist piecing together parts of her stolen memories to reveal the tragic story of her past in order to help save the future.
+Great gameplay which sees the main protagonist making use of her abilities as a memory hunter to traverse Neo-Paris as well as combat enemies by chaining together combinations of moves called pressens.
+Good controls when in combat however when traversing the in-game world, could have been a bit more responsive.
+Great orchestral soundtrack which fits the futuristic setting of Neo-Paris perfectly.

Cons:
-Bad camera angles at times, especially when in combat. This can be an annoyance when fighting multiple enemies and trying to effectively chain together moves.
-Would have loved to see the game be less restrictive in terms of exploring Neo-Paris. Its a shame to have such a beautiful setting yet be restricted as to where you can go.

Mafia 3 is one of those games where despite all its flaws, I cant help but love it. This is one of those games where I truly believe that with enough time to properly complete and polish the game while not rushing a release date, it could have been a true gem. Lincoln Clay is an excellent and memorable protagonist in the franchise.

Pros:
+Good graphics which sees New Bordeaux as well as its characters look simply great at times.
+Great revenge story especially the way its narrated to the player through cut scenes as the game progresses. The story also does a great job at relating the motives behind the actions of the main protagonist while allowing the player to choose how the story ends.
+Good open-world gameplay with alot of places to see however it lacks activities to keep gameplay fresh and new.
+Good controls both when in combat, in vehicles or when simply exploring New Bordeaux.
+Excellent soundtrack which features a variety of artists and which fits the look and feel of the game perfectly.

Cons:
-At points in time you can't help but notice the obvious low resolution textures in the game.
-The game has its share of bugs like Floating NPCs, enemies that dont react properly when in combat, bodies becoming stuck in objects during combat and traffic randomly appearing in front your vehicle while driving around.
-Gameplay can become repetitive after a while especially since the game does not add any significant side activities to keep gameplay fresh and rewarding.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag was an awesome adventure set during the golden age of piracy. It still remains one of my favourite settings in the Assassin's Creed franchise to date.

Pros:
+Excellent graphics. The islands of the Caribbean are rendered in beautiful detail down to the wildlife which inhabit them.
+Great story. Edward is one of the more likable protagonists in the series and his motives are very relatable even as he struggles with doing the right thing.
+Great open-world gameplay with awesome naval battles, ability to upgrade your ship and explore islands along with underwater shipwrecks.
+Great controls when in combat, prowling the seas in your ship or when traversing the in-game environment to persue enemies.
+Great orchestral soundtrack as well as entertaining sea shanties which your crew sing as you sail across the seas.
+Anne Bonny <3

Cons:
-Experienced one glitch during my entire playthrough when my ship became a submarine while sailing to Africa during one of the missions.
-Stealth could use some work especially during some missions where you have to tail enemies. It could be a bit annoying.
