Apparently I owned this game at some point and now I don't. I don't remember it or why I no longer have it in my library. That's how good it wasn't.

So the game was off to a very rough start for some of us, invisible floors and all. They fixed that, which I appreciate.

The one issue I have with the game now is that there's no challenge in playing it. Even with weak gear and no pawns, the game doesn't offer much of a thrill.

How did the devs react to people saying the game is too easy? They added casual mode.

Come on already, give this the Dark Arisen treatment. You can still save this title.

This is literally the best game. All my hours are spent building cars and tuning them to fit a purpose, then driving them to destruction.

Career mode will make it the most epic driving game ever.

Modding is easy, there are TONS of mods to play with, but that doesn't mean there's no vanilla content. The original cars are amazing to begin with.

CAUTION:

This game, with its simulation and physics might ruin all other driving games for you.

To put it short, buy this game.

The best. If you haven't played it yet, what are you waiting for?

I hate controllers. I almost like this one, which means it's the best one I've ever had my hands on. Bought one last second. Tracked down a second controller when I realized how good it is, as a backup. Please bring the steam controller back! Or a v2.

This gameplay is unbelievably bad. Building vehicle monsters is probably second to none. If you can stand the badly executed PVP and the horrible physics, just to get to the building parts, then power to you. I couldn't.

I can finally play it again. Incompatibilities with (some) AMD GPUs have been addressed. Modding support added. Most bugs fixed. Free DLC on the way. The game is ALMOST what was promised at this point.

Totally recommended.

HUGE Fallout and Bethesda fan here. I avoided playing this game for the longest time, but since I caught this free week, figured I'd try it. WOW, I literally can't recommend it less. I mean, I'm gonna play it, cause I'm a fanboy, but WOW, bad game.

1 hour in and I've seen all of the usual Bethesda bugs like corpses (decoration and enemies I've killed) sticking through floors and furniture, floating items, items sticking through the ground and furniture etc.

First multiple choice encounter I run into has talk, attack and two options which both require stats you can't possibly have if you just follow the natural course of the first mission.

Right after the above encounter, I try to talk to the trader I just rescued, press E to talk, R to trade. Neither key works. I have to walk away and approach again to interact with Duchess.

Duchess then goes into this EXTREMELY long and drawn out monologue that boils down to "do this and I'll pay you". Seriously, there is no substance, just pointless flourish to have long sentences, only interrupted at some point, telling me to wait a second, then proceeding to walk in circles for about 20 seconds behind her bar, every couple seconds very awkwardly turning to look at me, before going to fetch an item for me. (Morrowind flashback)

The devs clearly don't listen to the players. Everything people complained about after Fallout 4, they added in Fallout 76.
To name a few:

- people love to look armed to the teeth, and display weapons on their character; weapons vanish when holstered.
- people wanted the old skill and perk system, reminiscent of the original Fallout games; they made it even simpler than in Fallout 4.
- people wanted more flexible, responsive combat; devs were like nope.

And the cherry on top? 16 euro PER MONTH to play something close to single player? For real though?

EXTRA thing that just came to mind... there is a community out there that has been keeping Bethesda games in the top sales lists on pretty much every platform out there. THE MODDING COMMUNITY. Devs were like nah bruh, let's make an online game that can't be modded. That'll be grrrrreat! *ding*

But yeah. Gonna play this since 2020 is a dumpster fire and got nothing better to do.

I would go so far as to say that this is the best title in the NFS series.

Driving is fun, graphics are good, the map is great, but where this game really shines is CUSTOMIZATION!!! You want an offroad Lamborghini? Well you sure huraCAN have it! A 1,000 horsepower golf gti from 73? JAWOHL! And you can show them off in multiplayer too!

It's got supercars, pickup trucks, japanese drift machines old and new, this game is worth its price tag anyday! But if you're cheap like me, you just get an EA play subscription and get to play this and a lot of other stuff for like, minus one beer a month.

The only con I can find in this game is the constant starting in last place, on the right side. That is literally it.

I tried to like it. Driving offered no joy and the building part has been done better by other games. Refunded for now, but I'll keep an eye on it.

Wouldn't recommend it for full price. Maybe 5-10 euro right now.
