I can definitely recommend playing through at least once.

Kinda didn't like walking around the map over and over again looking for stuff I missed or could not but I guess that's just a metroidvania thing.

On the other hand I enjoyed the fact that the game does not hold your hand for the whole time and you have to find out what to do yourself.

Boss fights were very nice, the further I got in the story the harder they got (top job devs). The music was great and while I've never used different attack types, using basic attacks and spells was enough to keep me entertained due to various enemy designs.
