In 2008, I realised what should have been evident already. I've always been passionate about video games even though I never seemed to own any. Recently, I got a better PC and tried using a DS, allowing my inner gamer to emerge. My renewed passion for games owes a lot to Podcasts from The Brainy Gamer and Experience Points (the other reason my passion has been renewed is Zelda Twilight Princess on the WII - which I had the opportunity to play while visiting my relatives). I have discovered that the world of games is both amazing and something of a letdown. If only more games could be like Portal, Twilight Princess, and Beyond Good and Evil! Alas... few were. Until... I discovered The Walking Dead by telltale games and Gone Home, which raised the bar even higher. I look forward to being pleasantly surprised again in the future.
