It's excellent, very aesthetic when you get into it, and feels very in-tune with the middle-earth setting, more of 1977's hobbit vibe in my opinion. Getting started is a bit of a task in the campaign but it really seemed to open up for me once i reached a certain point of discovery. Playing with friends is great, my group has been playing as 2 PC players and 1 Xbox player and we've had no stability issues with me, a PC player, hosting the server. For the price point i think you'd be hard pressed to find a better game, especially if you want the lord of the rings setting, it's nice exploring the mines of moria and finding areas and items from the fellowship as well. The combat is solid, the stability feels good, the crafting is nice, although a minor complaint for me would be that it would be nice to have a quarter rotation to the building placement but it's nothing i can't live without. All in all, i'd give it an 8/10, arguably i could add another point for the price. There's some bugs though, like using a mapstone to teleport somewhere, if your friend doesn't move before you load in right behind him you may be placed somewhere randomly nearby on the map since the game doesn't seem to know where to put you. I'm 40ish hours in and i'm not at the end of the campaign i would say i've not been in a rush by any means, and ive taken lots of time to build bases and tinker, the sandbox is great too, lots of depth!

AAA titles are filled with political social messaging and agonizing parasitic design that no one wants and is destroying video games. Join helldivers 2 where politics are the butt of the joke and you get to live out that last stand fantasy you always wanted

2nd Review:
It's a sad day, Arrowhead caught lightning in a bottle and sony destroyed all the work. I love the game, even purchased in-game currency simple to support a game i really loved. Purchased gift copies for friends too. Now this nonsense happens, i can't get behind it, this bloat requirement simply to....ban players...in a 4 player co-op where the host can kick and privatize the game....it's just nonsense, They shouldn't have sold the game in countries that couldn't actually connect to PSN, and now if they don't enforce it there why enforce it here. It's such a trivial thing absolutely, but they initiated the triviality and allowed purchases and playtime without having to deal with the nonsense. It's dishonest, idc who's at fault.

3rd Review: My distrust for sony has grown greatly but i'm glad they stopped it.

It's the best game Creative Assembly has ever created by a large margin in my opinion. This is a perfect game. Predatory DLC ruins the future games. Don't let my time fool you, easily have 2k hours in this game

Big time fan of all the total war games, shogun 2 being my favorite, and a mega-fan/collector of warhammer for 20+ years it pains be to see DLC cash grabs with very little content, Sure they're panicked and are trying to do damage control by adding more units to the DLC everyone was outraged about, but this is going to happen again and again, the price points are set now at half the games original price for some sub-factions W/Lords and some units. I can't recommend spending your money for the content at this point. You can get better quality units and lords from Modders than CA can give you at these ridiculous prices.

Yeah I'd recommend it, it's fun. The big thing i'd like to complain about though is the selling points of the game. For instance, me as an individual who bought the pack back in 2022. One of the selling points was to have your name added to the credits, i've played 150+ hours, was one of the first to purchase when made available, and my name still isn't there. Sure you might think "who cares" or that it's "no big deal" usually i'd agree, but they made it a point of sale not I, yet it's still not there. I'd like for Game Companies to stop selling empty promises for an extra fee. I received emails about being sure to put my name in (which i had already done) multiple times, It's insulting honestly. You took my money now you'll get around to it at your own pace? i like the game, but I'm extremely frustrated with purchase not being fulfilled, to the point i have to make discord tickets and deal with extra nonsense.

If you grew up playing Doom and Duke Dukem you're going to love this game, 40k fans will really love it

this review is during the closed beta play-test, there's some bugs but nothing that ruins the experience....i'm really enjoying the game as a whole, so far I've just played the veteran and the zealot and both those classes seem to be great fun, i'm really enjoying the ranged combat feel, it's very similar to vermintide but i do believe it's a better feel with the ranged combat!

This game is a blast. 3rd person shooter meets dark souls sort of feel for me, i really dig it! fun and challenging alone, but even more fun with some buddies

This game is great, after dumping some time in to it i gotta say i really dig it, it's really difficult and combat is unforgiving but once you really get a feel for it the game begins to really shine. The multiplayer aspect is also great. This is the Hardcore RPG i was looking for. I would highly recommend it especially if you have a friend and you want to be challenged! The game is a real Gem!
