God, it's so SO good when it works. It really is something really really special.

But, and a BIG "but" at that-

I don't know about anyone else, but my friends and I have a really really hard time getting this thing working. I was able to boot it up and my mic worked no problem - but I'd disconnect or crash constantly. Like every game almost. My friends had similar issues, and some couldn't even get their mics to work. Sometimes we'd log into a match and we could all talk, but one of us couldn't hear one or all of us through the mic. OR we'd get going, and suddenly they'd stop being able to speak.

Not to mention how often we would start lobbies and then just not be able to join. The game TRULY is broken as far as networking is concerned - and the devs / dev have / has apparently made some progress in that regard (if their patch notes are to say anything). HOWEVER, while the game itself is a whole lot of fun, I would wait for a sale or for further development before getting the game.

TL;DR:
It needs some work in the stability department, but I assure you that the potential and gameplay value is there when it works.
