Probably best to wait until there's a "No Man's Sky" type overhaul to the planets. They all look pretty much the same (not an exaggeration) and there's very little to explore. It's always some abandoned mine or research facility which look largely the same after doing them 3 times.

Building also leaves a lot to be desired. There's no snap-to-grid for objects so if you have OCD about things being straight and in line with each other like myself, you're gonna go nuts. Storage in outposts is also a mess as none of the linking works as intended (at least I could never get it to work properly) and there's no sorting for storage. You also have to open each individual container to see what's inside. There should be an overall interface that shows everything in one menu, with like-items stacked (i.e. No Man's Sky).

Really this just makes me want to play ****ing Skyrim again just to feel a sense of exploration and purpose. I don't hate this game, I got enjoyment out of it until I saw all it had to offer, I just think it's a huge missed opportunity and I can't bring myself to stay interested after giving it a solid try, so I can't really recommend it.
