I haven't put a ton of time in yet but it's fun. I like the exploration especially when the camera pans out for a more cinematic view.

Basically Vermintide but Warhammer 40k. It's pretty buggy at the moment but no other game has as much style and care put into its aesthetics as this one plus amazing feeling melee and ranged combat

Fun little interactive murder mystery. For $3, why not?

Similar to prospector but roguelikes need more space exploration games imo.

While it has its problems, Blasphemous is still a very competent Metroidvania with an insanely rich and compelling visual style and world.

At first, I was drawn to the game because I'm a big fan of Warhammer. I was expecting it to be basically a Left 4 Dead clone but it's different enough to be its own game despite the similarities. Many things play out the same with hordes of easily killed rats and difficult specials but the combat and loot system really sets it apart. It's much more melee focused with really satisfying combat. You cut rats in half left and right while blood spatters everywhere. The differences really become apparent after playing a while and you learn the ins and outs of all the weapons and abilities.

The devs are a small team but they do a great job of communicating with the community, both on their forums and Reddit. They also do weekly streams where they show off community content, answer questions and give away free stuff. They clearly love the game and have an interest in supporting it since they intersperse the paid DLC with free DLC updates that usually add cool stuff.

If you're a fan of Left 4 Dead or that play style, or of Warhammer, I'd highly recommend Vermintide.

As a huge fan of the Stanley Parable, I bought this game sight unseen and went in completely blind. At its base, it's somewhat similar to Stanley Parable in that there's a narrator and you generally just walk around without much interaction. Its tone is quite different though along with the story it tells. Without spoiling too much, it deals with game design, the creative process and concomittant anxiety, depression, addiction and other themes.

It's very short but well worth it. I left the game somewhat unsettled but it was a valuable experience. I've been thinking about it ever since I finished it and it's rare for me to be so affected by a game especially after it's done. If you're not a fan of so-called "walking simulators" then I'd give The Beginner's Guide a pass but if you like an interesting story told through narration then go ahead.

One of the better kickstarter games I've back, it really brings back the meaty tactical rpg games I loved and played as a kid.
