Outer Wilds is an absolutely incredible game. Exploring its open world is immensely satisfying, because there are never really any directions telling you where to go. Sure, you can find some clues which give you ideas about places of interest, but progression is basically fueled entirely by the player's curiosity about the world around them. In that respect, I feel like the game is similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

However, beyond the fun that you'll probably have exploring Outer Wilds' breathtaking open world, the game also has an incredibly powerful storyline that made me really emotional. I'd elaborate more on that, but this is one of those games where you pretty much have to go in blind unless you want to detract from the experience. So, I'll just say that this game definitely lives up to the hype, and if it even slightly interests you then you should pick it up immediately without reading more. That's basically what I did, and now this is one of my favorite games of all time.
