Control is an incredibly well done Psychological Thriller that does a great job at introducing dubious newcomers to the genre. I generally hate scary games/movies, and this walked the border between scary/unsettling and manageable/entertaining very well.

I rarely have felt so compelled to pick up every piece of lore and digest it along the way....yet I felt so much this way that the fights became interruptions to my lore collection instead of it being the other way around. I felt that was an impressive feat of storytelling, and kept my ADHD brain hooked the whole game.

The other notable mention is the destructible environments. This is Force Unleashed levels of destruction, brought into your 1980s office space. You can finally pick up a desk and hurl it at that annoying coworker who was totally dumb enough to get zombified. A standing ovation to the devs for their attention to detail and daring to not lock us into a world where everything was glued to a surface.

Spend your hard earned money on this quality entertainment, you will not regret it.
