roguelike rhythm actuion dungeon crawler.

unique, content-rich, challenging.

not enough games can boast the level of depth and diversity that this can, more content than you can hope to complete (unless you are a game-wizzard)

its quirky, exciting, frustrating and about as close to perfect as a game can get.

best part, its been "ready" since about half way through ALPHA but just kept gropwing with more and more content, never stopped getting better and yet they STILL didn't stop work. this is Early Acess done RIGHT and its a crying shame more developers don't follow this lead.

10/10, would dance again.

its very meh. the gameplay is exactly the same as Pharoh and the art is a bit overhyped.

frequent crashes, long load times and bland gameplay.

shame, as I like the look of it and wish I could get in to it.

oh well, back to Cities Skylines.

its fun, but gets tedious very quickly.

gameplay is a little rough arround the edges, a lot of polish is missing from a very good concept.

animation is poor to say the least, and most of the 3d models are just terrible, but not as terrible as the voice acting.

income curve seems very broken, as in unless you decide to spend ALL your money in one place you'll never get anything decent (at least not up to day 15 where I am) seems the game doesn't want you to take a balenced aproach at all, would be fine if there was the ability to generate more than a few cents a day.

sadly, both of the mechanics in the game are underdeveloped (tower defence and hack n slash), the tower defence aspect is cripled by an unclear placement system and the hack and slash is lacking any kind of flow (say you run towards an enemy then attack, theres no animation that links them so it feels very clunky)

while I do enjoy it, and will probably play it some more, there are too many issues to justify a thumbs up, but its only one major patch away from being good. (asside from the truly TERRIBLE voice acting, which is beyond salvation)

if you can get it in a bundle, then do it, but its certainly not worth the asking price. not by a long shot.

meh, nice to have a decent quality dubstep soundtrack, just a shame about the mediochre game play.

not essentially "bad" and its cheap as anything, so its getting a thumbs up, but yeah, keep expectaions low.

pretty, but utterlv generic. astabreed blows this out the water. just played another game, and the complete lack of control dead zones totally explains the fail. menus and gameplay both fail HARD

its truly excellent. pumping soundtrack and flashing visuals will keep the adrenaline PUMPING THROUGH YOUR VEINS, and oh my pope you're going to need it.

its hard, really hard (impossible without a 360 pad and skill)

the control system is fine tuned and you always feel totaly in control, when you ♥♥♥♥ up, its YOU failing, not the game engine screwing you.

I am currently sitting on all but one star collected and pretty much thrown my toys out the pram. I'm sure I'll get it... some day...

strongly recomend this game to anyone who THINKS they are good at platformers (protip: meatboy isnt that hard)

its like Rimworld, only terrible.

No form of balence at all, completley random and never lets you have any level of success,not because its hard, but because its buggy.

Hulks appear, but they are death traps, ships dock and ruin the asthetic of your base.

I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS GAME, and gave it a really extensive play, built a functional base and achieved most of the goals, BUT never felt like I was "doing well"

I'm sure the game is a bit less impossible when you have the research complete, but I've never managed to do more than 3 research projects before my base gets wiped out.

no form of "micro" exists in this game, in fact its totally one dimentional with no real management elements at all.

honestly, save the money and get RimWorld instead. (just as alpha, not classed as "released" virtually no bugs and already has more content than this glorified tech demo)

I'll never buy another DF game again.

I actually can't get over the audacity it took to class this as "finished"

if you skip the endless tutorials (game is incredibly simple to pick up) and the mind numbingly bad voice acting / dialogue then this game is vaguely playable.
