This is by far one of the stupidest games I've played in a long time, and that's saying something. Not only is the entire story nonsensical theory-bait, far more than the first game, but it's also just not fun. It's a ridiculously short, unpolished puzzle game that gets easy to softlock. I softlocked myself for two entire months. After repeatedly asking for support, I was eventually told to send my save in. Only after doing this and discovering the save they gave me was just another softlock, they told me that they were apparently incapable of giving me the single item that popped out of existence. I was encouraged to replay the game to see all the cool new features they added. So I did, and it's aged like fine milk. The AIs have all turned from annoying nuisances to killing machines with super-human hearing and infinite vertical reach. Any challenge that the game used to have has been replaced with just omniscient idiots. The only thing the devs seem to have done between now and the game's launch is add filler content. I finally finished the game this time, and it is the least satisfying theory-bait ending ever. It's just a cliffhanger, followed by a literal wall of text saying to wait for the next game. Believe it or not, I wanted to like this game, considering I kind of liked the first game. But this is just ridiculous.
