This game is fun for someone who learns how to drive or loves driving in general. It runs on Linux without issues so far and looks pretty good. I got this game before I took driving lessons - it seemed boring at the time. Now I have the driving licence and game is actually interesting because I know the rules and can try driving with gearbox and all kinds of other optional things.

This game is just awesome. It is fun, runs on Linux and you can even practice your typing skills. If you had emotionally or physically exhausting day this is a perfect way to relax. No thinking required, just shoot and cover whole battlefield in enemy corpses within seconds.

This game is fun to play and runs on Linux. The difficulty level range is good - the higher difficulties are actually challenging(and require all players to play as a team). There is some randomness in levels, which adds replayability to the game.

It runs on Linux almost flawlessly either through proton or wine. There seems to be only 1 glitch in the Skyguards level... Can't say this game is perfect, but it is really fun to play. The gameplay is really enjoyable because the player gets fancy perks/abilities around every 10 minutes. In terms of character progression and unlocking abilities it is really well made. There are some puzzles, but nothing difficult. The set of abilities is really fun, some battles are quite difficult, yet even on the hardest difficulty the player is not required to use everything it has in the battles between bosses. The controls and UI are really simple and convenient even though there are many different abilities your character can do.

Cut scenes, dialogues, animations, and quotes. The animations and quotes get repeated, most of them are really basic even in some boss fights, while others are overengineered masterpieces. The plot and story are average.

The gameplay balance is so nice that the game can be completed in one go, just allocate contiguous chunk of time for the weekend and enjoy. It will be hard to pause or stop when you have started.

This game is great, but requires a few adjustments to work on Linux(through wine). I would say it runs flawlessly after those adjustments. The game has a nice story, nice setting, really good jokes and really enjoyable mechanics. All player abilities will eventually be unlocked, so you can chose everything unlike in some other games. Difficulty range is good. The balance between fighting areas and not fighting ones isn't that good though - there is an area where a player can spend around an hour enjoying optional non-fighting content. There are some minor choices in the game and if you don't do them the game picks one... The story and level design is pretty linear, yet there are some interesting quirks. Like there is a scripted scene, but your character can make it a different scripted scene it you are fast and smart enough, which brings this game some extra charm and rather unexpected reward if you manage to pull it off. I had a lot of fun playing this game, so I totally recommend it.

I recommend buying a nice mouse with multiple programmable buttons to play this game. This game works on Linux, which is a huge plus for me. Don't forget to get the DLC.

This game requires time investment from the player. It seems quite boring and slow in the beginning - everything takes forever and it is not even clear what this game is about... You are given a ship, so you can fly, fight, trade like in any other space sim game... No-no-no, that first impression is all wrong - you will rarely fight, you will rarely trade, you won't even fly that much. You will be an entrepreneur, you will manage things and make decisions. This is a game about entrepreneurship!

In the late game you'll probably have a trading empire, which makes money, sustains the galaxy economy, keeps everyone happy, boosts reputation, makes everything and has a military fleet to protect itself and the partners from dangers.

Yet in the beginning you are given a crappy ship, maybe no weapons and a debt. Well, everyone is a racist and they hate you. If you do a mission you'll get few hundreds or maybe a thousand credits. In order to buy a station you need a ship worth of around 50 million... The stations themselves are not cheap either. Not to mention the required reputation to get the license for such a ship. And you probably don't want to make enemies.

You'll have to figure out a way of getting your first million and investing it later to make the money. There are pirates, there are mission and trades, well, there are many different ways to make money. The most interesting of them however is stock exchange. That's right you can make money from shares and their price fluctuations. And later on you can manipulate the stock market to basically get as much money as you want. So the game changes, since the money is not an issue anymore and you start to follow other interesting goals.

Things I don't like about the game. Building an empire leads to lags... The interface in general is not very comfortable. It does not fit the strategic perspective of the game. There are some minor bugs here and there, which are usually easy to avoid, but sometimes can make your ship explode, which is frustrating if you play on dead-is-dead difficulty. There is a limited amount of save slots. If you don't chose Terran there are certain ships you will not be able to build in the end game... In-sector vs out-of-sector inconsistencies, which turn the battle in random or even opposite direction.

Things I like. The amount of content and immersive experience. Lots of tiny details and surprising unique difficult to get rewards scattered in the universe. Ship reverse engineering. Some bug/features that make the game more interesting than without them. Stock market representing actual economy of the system, which allows manipulations with it.

This game is fun and interesting. You need to improve both your social skills and your play to beat the opposite team. The product is well made and works on Linux. I had a long negative review of this game before, but lots of things have changed since then. Most of the issues I reported were fixed. There are still some very interesting glitches, but I have not yet played a game where they would make a difference. There are also plenty of mods to enjoy. I am glad they got rid of some mechanics that were making this game addictive in a bad way. Be careful though and don't play this to much. Game addiction is a recognized disease by the World Health Organization. Make sure playing this game remains low priority compared to your real life activities like sleep, work or studying.

Early Access Review
This is a great game. I bought it before the steam release and watched how it changed over time. It already has everything you need to enjoy it. I have more than 2000 hours in it.

The game rewards smart people. There are many things you can calculate and program to be more efficient. There are many aspects of efficiency btw. You use the right ratios of assemblers making certain items to conserve time, use and program switches to conserve electricity, make modules to conserve space. There are different strategies needed depending on the goal of your game. If you want to complete the game as soon as possible you would have to skip many different things and waste some resources. On the other hand, if you really want to enjoy it you would build lots of things that are not mandatory, that make your gameplay more comfortable, relaxing, your factory more efficient and it does not end when you reach the final objective - you can continue to research things to make your factory even better. So it is kinda open ended.

Game has blueprints which are part of the game machanics and you can share them in multiplayer which adds extra replayability. The game is modable, and some features have been put into the game engine just to make some mod ideas work(factorissimo, vehicle grids, etc), though the vanilla game does not require them.

Things you need to know when you buy it:
1) Do not ruin your life! You can save your game at any moment and continue tomorrow!
2) Complete the campaing and play some single player before going into multiplayer.
3) You can use console commands to get into creative mode if you want to make some better desing and test things. There are some special items just for that in vanilla(you do not need mods!) like loaders, infinity chests, energy producer/consumer/accumulator. Turn off friendly fire if you do not want to worry about being runned over by a train, accidentally nuking your base or taking collision damage from cars, trains, trees and buildings.
4) Blueprint library is not stored in saves and is not shared between diffent machines(I hope it will be fixed). So if you play the game and then want to delete it or move to another machine just create a save where all your blueprint library(books and blueprints) is stored as items in chests or inventory, so you can get them back when you return.
5) Read the past game updates so you know all the features that are not taught. Like copy-pasting/taking/droping/mining/placing while draging/running, item filters in wagons, all kinds of circuit conditions, underground belt loading, splitter filters, logistic network conditions on belts and miners, belt compression, logistic signals for expected resourses(for ore patches), bot count signals, train stop activation conditions, etc.
6) There are bots, productivity modules, beacons, nuclear power, uranium bullets and you should care! Though:
- you have free solar energy(you pay resource and space to set it up!)
- express belts don't consume power(you might need more throughput)
- resources are infinite(if "a" needs " b" that needs "c" and you can conserve 40% on each of them you can get the same amount of "a" using only 51% of "c". In other words modules are expensive, but the gain is exponential if used in a chain and more than exponential if used within 1 entity, so they might be more efficinent then you think)
- productivity modules make things slow and produce more polution due to higher power consumption(which you can compensate with clean beacons and speed/efficiency modules)
- laser turrets don't consume ammo and have high damare and range(ammo bonuses stack! ammo based turrets work even when your factory don't, bullets travel faster than light... so even the strongest enemies die faster than they are able to charge their attack). There is also autofill mod.

This game is... I don't really have proper words to describe it. It is not just good it looks too good. The amount of details and customization in this game is beyond comprehension of a human being. The game play is fast passed and dynamic as it should be in a classic DOOM game. The worst part though... it is so dynamic and fast passed that all those details do not matter that much... Your character has more than a hundred well made taunts, though it feels like no one will ever see them because the battle is too dynamic to stay and watch... It seems the game lacks some good sound tracks and weapon sounds seems to be weak. It also runs well on my hardware(well optimized) and runs in Linux through staging wine out of the box.

EDIT:
These were my thoughts about the game when I played only multiplayer and did not check the campaign... Now, when I played the campaign I can say it is absolutely amazing and I am happy I bought this game, because it worth more than its price. It is done well and has lots of replayability. This game is everything a good FPS is. I mean it and want to clarify why exactly I think DOOM is much better than other shooters. Your guns, you have lots of them and each has 2(not 1!) alternate fire modes. Ammo, it is balanced, so you will HAVE to use different guns and you might to run out of ammo if you miss too much. Your character is already quite powerful at the start, and there are lots of upgrades, that you have to earn before using. Upgrades are really nice, but if you miss them all you still can complete the game, it will be just less epic and slightly harder. Level design is really good. Most FPS lack level design, DOOM has it all(it is not just better than others, it is really good by itself). There are secrets, well hidden secrets. Some secrets are so well hidden that it is still a challenge to find them even when you have an upgrade that allows to locate them. There are many ways to kill and there are many ways to die, so you will not get tired of repeated animations. You can perform different fatalities depending on surroundings, targeted part and angle of attack. I have played Crysis games before and thought that suite is so powerful, it is not... Preator suite is! It is like "Maximum Everything" on Crysis suite. You are fast, strong, tanky, and have jet boots(and you can get even faster, stronger and tankier)!!! You are that powerful to tear enemies apart, so are they if you make a mistake! Few seconds ago you've smashed that poor imp's head into a create and now you are on your back and some other imp tears limb by limb from you. Have you seen a video "What if DOOM was made today"? That is not about this game! DOOM makers know what they are doing: they made great games in the past and remind us what games should be like even today.

This is one of the best games I ever played. This game has everything - humor, story, good game design, lots of details and my favorite - it runs in Linux flawlessly, which is an extremely rare case for games of such size that suppor Linux. Gameplay is smooth(no leading screens between different locations on a level). This game has secrets that are there to FIND them, and not accidentally get them. There are so many things that are done correctly in this game and are just wrong in many others(and still being done wrong in modern games). Like your character will not replace a mag in your gun if it is already full, he will do some other action instead. If you are at low health your screen will not turn red or simulate bleading from your eyes - it will decrease color perception instead. Your character will say that the fight was easy only if your health didn't drop below a certain threshold, and not when you barelly made it alive(just to sound cool and tough). There are many other small things that make you think: "Hey, that is not an ordinary game, that is a f*cking masterpiece". I recommend this to everyone who likes to play FPS. It also has some chalenging difficulty settings that most other games just do not have nowdays. If you play on heroic you will have to THINK first and THEN do. Like if you do not chose correct skills and abilities(during first levels) the first boss will just 1-hit kill you and since in heroic you cannot save-reload, you are done(though you still might be able to do it, you just need to be untouchable for around 20 mins)... Which is what a heroic difficulty is meant to be. Options in the game are also quite smart - you can toggle hints that show where you need to go. Level design is quite good, so for a new player it might not be clear where to go or what to do, and an experienced player might not want to have those kind of hints.
