This is not really my kind of game. And yet, about every six months, I suddenly become obsessed again. Caves of Qud is *massive* in ways that not many games are; no matter how incredibly overwhelming it can be, I desperately just want to dig deeper into its strangeness.

About seven or eight times while playing I realised I'd become so entranced by Kentucky Route Zero that my head was right up against my monitor. I don't think I've ever had anything latch onto me like this. I will never forget this game.

Beyond incredible, the only problem is that I can't play it again without forgetting everything about it.

Weird game. Clearly not for everyone.

Oh my good Cthulhu is it good.

This game is massively underated, and even more underplayed. This is a true hidden gem.

Wow, this game is good. I won't say too much about it, just that if you like shooting things in runs that feel completely different every time with dark overtones and an interesting narrative, then this is for you.

Does what it says on the tin in many interesting ways. Sure, there are modes where you just quickly type a word, but it iterates that in such cool ways. Oh, and it's bloody cheap. Definitely worth it!

Wow, this game. It's short and sweet, and if I had to seriously consider what made this game so great... It's a game about the joys of music. You 'make' music, which is extremely simple, and it takes zero effort; but you feel great. You can't play the game without smiling and thinking to yourself 'Damn, this sounds pretty good. I'm pretty good. The world is awesome.'
