Elite Dangerous is one few gems sitting in my steam library and would thoroughly recommend this game to those who like long term relationships with games because even though this game is long and sometimes unforgiving it is a fun and long journey to make to the end game ships.

There's a lot of people who already have wonderfully written reviews so I'll just make this about my journey exploring, trading, and selling slaves.

Like everyone else I started in a sidewinder, didn't know what to do so I just picked up random missions and went on from there. As I got the hang on the game I began exploring outside of the small bubble of civilized system. Found missions of long and tedious hyper jumps for good money with the downside of getting interdicted every 5 systems. From their I upgraded to a better ship, the diamondback explorer and set up for my first long range exploration trip. It was filled with beautiful sights, weird and exotic planets, and a bunch of stars. Made my first 20 million on my return trip and upgraded to the standard exploration ship, the ASP explorer. Everyone's favorite medium sized ship.

From then on it was 220 hours of exploration, trading, smuggling, donating, to get to where I am today. One fully kitted out multi-purpose Anaconda, and several smaller ships located around the bubble.
