This game is fun, and there is a lot to do, but it is very difficult. I frequently only make it to the second or third sector, which leaves a good portion of the game unplayed to me. I've got over 30 hours in but I've never beaten the boss, and I've only reached the boss once. Part of the reason it is so hard is that you don't get enough scrap (in-game money) to do anything meaningful to your ship before the enemies get too strong for your ship to defeat. Other than that, I like the game even if I haven't been able to play most of it.

This "game" seemed like a really cool concept when I bought it, but as I have come to find out, it's just a buggy abandoned mess. It runs terribly and has a lot of game breaking glitches. I would not recommend this game.

If I had to describe this game in one word, it'd be an act of blasphemy to say anything short of amazing. A perfect blend of satirical humour and great, endless gameplay make Rogue Legacy one of the most entertaining indie games I've play in a long time; I might even go as far as to say it could be one of the most entertaining games I've ever played - period. With randomly generated levels, (You can also choose to keep the level how it was the previous life - for a price that is.) the game never gets old, and with a plethera of upgrades ranging for armour to spells, and various player traits that are also randomly generated it is almost impossible to ever play the same game twice. To sum it up, you are only hurting yourself if you don't experience this game.
