Review Showcase
night of the abattoir man is an indie horror game that's been on my radar for several months now
i'm friends with the main developer and publisher, and actually had the opportunity to voice jake campbell in the prologue. however, i will be as unbiased as possible in this review.

i've played through once and got the helltaken ending but aim to get other endings and collectibles sometime in the future.
there's a fair amount of collectibles in the game, most of which are essentially references to various forms of media and even some content creators big and small. while i personally do not know all of the references, the ones i do know are very great and was in awe of the fact that they were included.

all of the collectibles and various endings makes it easier to get back into after beating it for the first time as well, with even some hidden endings that aren't even mentioned in the list of endings that is in the room you reach once you beat the game. i love this game and i'm not even much of a fan of horror and i definitely see myself playing this more in the future.

also the visuals, style, music, and voice editing. pretty much everything compliments each other and it's very visually and auditorially appealing to me.

knuckles is always hard at work with patches to fix small bugs, game-breaking bugs, etc. i haven't seen a developer working so hard and also constantly keeping an eye out for DMs from people or posts on the steam page regarding fixes and constructive criticism. it really goes to show just how dedicated and caring he is towards this game and making sure people will have a pleasant experience playing it.

i strongly recommend giving the game a try and if you don't like it, that's fine! it's a free game after all!!

definitely keep an eye out for the true ending update and i hope to see him bless our steam libraries even more with more games!
