The game is incredibly glitchy, can fall through the map with no way to restart the level, certain puzzles can break rendering them incompletable until you or your partner dies - makes getting the "good ending" incredibly difficult as dying resets your chances of this happening.

I constantly talk about this being my "favourite game" so I supposed I should write a spoiler free review on it.

I'm someone who doesn't like anime, and I randomly decided to give this game a chance due to a recommendation from a friend. Best choice I've made by far.

The game is a visual novel, there isn't too much gameplay to it, but you can get engrossed in the story so easily. This game is about murders and solving them, and it's an emotional rollercoaster, although I fell in love with the game before the murders even began.

You can get to know people better by spending free time with them and giving them gifts that they'd like, it's a very interesting way to learn more about others. If anything, I'd urge you to get invested in the characters because it makes the feels more real if your favourite character dies. It makes you very focused on revealing the murderer as you want to avenge them. You feel ultimate despair if your favourite character is one who commits murder and is executed beautifully and brutally in front of your eyes.

Once you finish the game, you're not finished. Theres another mode you can play to get to know the characters even more, and a fun little item collecting minigame to go along with it.

I can't explain it well enough, but this game is an absolute masterpiece and it's something I definitely recommend that you get into.

Take it from someone who spent their time to unlock all achievements, this is a brilliant game.

Go on, buy it. You can always refund it if you play under 2 hours and still aren't interested, but I know you will be :^)
