I am not going to tell you about how good Skyrim is, everyone knows that. I am just going to have a little word about Special Edition. If you had the original game with all the DLC packs, then you got lucky, you would get the Special Edition for free before its release. Otherwise, it will cost you now some unworthy amount of money. They made updated graphics as a main advantage of SE. I am not going to say it will impress you now, of course they made better shadows, sun rays, ambient lighting, now it looks just like in Fallout 4, but all the models and textures are the same. The community have made a lot of graphic mods, ENB, retextures and new models with a much higher quality for the original game. Some players complained about optimization and freezing, thankfully I hadn't that experience, but the game still suffers with gameplay bugs.
So, is Special Edition worth to buy, if you already got the original game? Definitely, it's not.
