Hello. We've just noticed a mistake in the update changelog. What we ment by "increased search radius" is that the Shadow will have harder time searching for player, since it's patroling radius is now much bigger. This is a nerf, not an attempt to make it harder.

We apologize for misunderstanding that was caused by this changelog. We're also preparing an update which will make the game more accessable to those who wants to focus on puzzles. We hope you can give our game another chance after this.
