Oh my god where to begin with Pentiment. I was gifted this for Christmas by a friend who saw it on my wishlist and was eager to jump in because I am a fan of other Obsidian titles. This is, of course, nothing like most other Obsidian titles. But it is SO good.

If you like roleplaying games, point and click adventures, murder mysteries, and European history: this is the perfect game for you. As someone who adores 3/4 of those things (I desperately need to play other point and clicks now), I had a BLAST streaming this for my friend. DO NOT look anything up, just go in with an open mind ready to flop around like a lost fish because there is no such thing as savescumming. You must live with every choice you make.

Andreas Maler you glorious bastard.

Incredibly fun but absolutely brutal in every sense of the word. This game is not for the weak, my save files will not stop corrupting.

Got two hours and five levels in and now I'm being expected to buy lootboxes to progress. I know WotC are stingy with licensing fees but really? Play other MMOs with better free trials or that offer a better F2P experience.

The Steam version's controls are really janky compared to consoles so if you're able to get it for Xbox or PlayStation instead. But other than that I'd strongly recommend this game if you too like your heart being crushed by a story about depressed robots.

(P.S don't mind my playtime, I beat this game on Xbox months ago and I'm replaying it here)

While the game is kind of clunky to aim in on PC, I'm really enjoying the game so far! Komaru's dynamic with Touko is just so fun but boy is this game dark. And I don't mean that in an "oh someone died" kind of way but... the main villains are eight year olds and if you know DR then you KNOW what's going to happen to them, but you don't expect it to happen the way it does.

A page turning and dark visual novel perfect for anyone who enjoys a murder mystery. Although certain aspects of the game's story have aged extremely poorly since it's 2010 release, Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc is an amazing opener to a showstopping series. The art style is poppy and interesting, the gameplay is fresh and the OST is brilliant. The cast are all so fun, too!

If you enjoyed the first game for its dark undertones and enjoyable characters I cannot recommend the game's sequel. The aesthetic, while enjoyable, is quite tone deaf to Danganronpa's murderous and overall dark tone. It's better just to watch summaries too because (bar a few) all of the supporting characters are annoying,

Edit: I can bet good money that if you removed Nagito from this game it wouldn't be as popular as it is, argue with the wall.
