They did it, they fixed the series.
Pros:
>Overhaul to the combat mechanic: Though it doesn't deviate much from the 1v1000 combat I've come to know and love from way back throughout my childhood, the addition of breakable guards and battle arts is a welcome one, it adds more tactic and mechanical mastery to the core gameplay.
>Grand tactics, tactics, battle arts: Love all of these additions, mini objectives as you wait for your ally to charge a grand tactic or kill a certain amount of troops/officers/weapons etc. to prevent enemy's grand tactic to be unleashed. I wish going forward the protagonist himself can use grand tactics.
>Officer bonds: Though you don't play as the characters themselves, the bond/relationship system offers insight towards the position of the protagonist in the world as well as the story of each known officers so far.

Cons:
>Too short: Come on, give us some more, more chapters please, future updates or DLCS, please more chapters.
>Beardless officers: Certain characters like Liu Bei and Cao Cao having no beard is kind of a whiplash to me, especially having known them for years having a specific design to them. I guess it's true to the setting and the age that's the game is set in, but still.
>Could use better English VA.

Yes, the cons is just me nitpicking and complaining a little bit.
This game is a solid 9.8/10 for me and is my second best Musou Warriors entry right behind DW5 (Yes, I'm biased)
