This is one of the worst ports I have played. 30 fps cap which can be changed in the ini, but even if you remove it most people aren't able to get over 30. Nvidia and AMD cards both suffer from performance problems. Even newer cards like a 980ti are having problems on certain setups.

Every setting I adjust seems to do absolutely nothing. Putting shadows to low removes a decent amount of stuttering, but it's still sitting at the same fps as before. The game seems to be using too much vram. If you set it to use 2GB of vram, it will still go above 2GB. It will try to do the same if you have 3 or 4GB, etc. Some users with 8GB of vram said it was attempting to use all of it as well.

This port was also outsourced, just like the previous WB published title to be released on pc, Mortal Kombat X. This follows suit in having a horrible launch. This doesn't even count the non performance related bugs, like completed objective markers sometimes not disappearing and being stuck on your screen. And since the game autosaves, you either suck it up or start over.

I didn't think anything could top AC Unity's launch. Refund if you bought it and are able. Stay away until many patches are released, if they ever actually fix these issues.

Paid mods

The game runs well and loads quickly, less hiccups when compared to the next-gen versions. I haven't experienced any problems with controller support so far. The lack of some next-gen effects is disappointing but not really a deal breaker. There is also two stages missing from the game which will probably eventually make it down the line. The game wont have online for a few months so if that's what you're looking for you are better off waiting. If you want to play locally with a friend or vs the cpu the game is worth it.

Probably the best Reisdent Evil since Nemesis if you disregard the RE1 Remake. With the new performance patch and local co-op addition, Capcom has fixed all the serious problems with the game.
