Challenging but fun and amusing (and frustrating, at times, but in a !!!FUN!!! way)

One of the most interesting, well-designed, and FUN tactics game ever made, imo. You really gotta play this game.

How many games have 100,000 Overwhelmingly Positive reviews? DRG has well earned them -- excellent, polished gameplay, procedural but interesting atmospheric level environments, unique but complementary classes, intuitive mission design, incredibly high replayability, easy to enter but hard to master. This is easily the best 4-player co-op game since Gauntlet Legends, and they ONLY JUST RELEASED SEASON 1. I foresee a long and glorious future for DRG. Rock and Stone, miners.

It's Borderlands 3, it's fantastic, it's got everything:
* Guns, more guns, hey look at that gun, it shoots other guns BAM, great
* Skills that make you consider gameplay -- will you load up your tree to fit your style or try out a new style? Multiple abilities, plenty of ability modifications, more explosions BAM, great
* Great voice acting and dialogue -- any of the reviews complaining about this probably come from someone who lives in a duplex

I have been playing Stonehearth on and off for a long time. I wasn't a Kickstarter backer, but I got in pretty early and was really excited about the promise of the game in its state then, and with what the development team was excited and interested in doing. The game is fun. Building your own little village in a charming setting and watching Hearthlings go around and to farm, smith, mine, build, whatever, is great. I really connected with the narrative Radiant was interested in following for the atmosphere of the game.

The development between 2017 and 2018 was ASTOUNDING and I was getting hyped, as I think most of the community was. New content, improved content, QOL improvements, updated building system, and new releases every week had me in-tune with development, and if I wasn't playing, I was reading about the next update. All those updates should have culminated in a 1.0 that the devs and community were super happy about, but instead we got the infamous LEAVING THE NEST blogpost about how the team was so proud and happy and "ready to pursue other opportunities" while leaving a significant number of Kickstarter goals unfinished, some with good reason, some just because. (Read for yourself here: https://www.stonehearth.net/leaving-the-nest/).

So the game will be "supported" through December 2018, most likely with major bugs intact, and zero [official] content updates. As much as I like the game, I can't recommend anyone to buy it. I really wish I could.

It will sound cynical, but if at some point the game is on sale and you're still interested, check out the Workshop. The talented community has already gone to work making Stonehearth everything it was supposed to be, and maybe that will be a deciding factor for you.

Cheeky, fun, sometimes heavy-handed on the humor but a great game with lots of charm.

Darkest Dungeon is one of those games I will get incredibly angry at, Alt+F4 out of it, and then immediately reopen it. Superb aesthetic, excellent gameplay, and very replayable.

Really good puzzle game with a good story and fantastic soundtrack. Totally made my day. Tragically short, but I'm hoping for more from this guy.

This game is really good, I've played it 3 times over and would play it again. It looks fantastic, the controls are pretty fluid once you get used to them, and the levels and story are varied and engaging. So good!
