O my god. Where to start?
Factorio is addictive. It's complex, yet simple. It has guns. And rockets (small and huge) and nukes.
It offers up new challenges with each playthrough - either through choosing different options or by playing some out of the huge collection of mods.
The developers are still maintaining the game and support the modding community actively.
I can only wholeheartedly endorse and recommend this game.

This little gem is a nice puzzle game, which reminds me of "The Talos Principle" but on a "No Man's Sky" type planet/moon. The riddles are not too hard and you can explore the areas in your own speed. From what I've seen there is only one puzzle that needs a bit of timing, but it's rather easy.
Don't expect too much playtime, an experienced player may solve it in as short as 2 hours, the average player in something like 4 hours and if you really like to explore all areas you may be in for something like 6 hours or more.
It's mostly developed by only one guy and he interacts with the players via the discussion forum here, which is nice. And given this last biets of information it is impressive what one can achieve.

I got this game when it was still in Early Access out of curiosity. Sounded like a fun little game based around a great idea.
When I compare my experience when I got this game and first played it to today - wow. The developers truly realized their vision which you could see in some areas then.
Today it is a remarkable game with a well made user interface which is very immersive. The animations are great and you see the love and work of the developers in all the little details and the well working research system.
The only little downside (which may be intentional after all ;-) ) is that you can't tell what some of the devices you can make acually do until you experiment with it.
I also really like the tutorial which teaches you all the necessary basics without overdoing it. Well done.
Overall I am curious if the developers deem the game "done" now or if they continue to add content to it. Either way, I am looking forward to spend quite some time in this beautiful colored universe.

I am a Kickstarter backer for this game.
And I am deeply disappointed in what I got.
I only played for a few minutes but what I saw is no fun. The story and world behind the game seems great and deep but the user interface is horrible and I as an experienced player am at a loss on how to even start. No explanation on how to start solving the "puzzles" to "advance". No tutorial, just some meaningless info pasted to the screen.
I mean seriously, WTF?
Did the developers not do any kind of playtesting or listen to player feedback? Obviously.
Thanks, but no thanks. I will never ever again support these developers.

Quite short game, but very enjoyable nontheless. A very fresh and new concept.
I thoroughly enjoyed the journey you took me on.
Thank you.

Wow, what a game.
Although I had a rough first start I restarted from scratch and with a fresh mind a few weeks ago and it has been a wild ride.
Very immersive and dense world with a thrilling backstory. And you see and feel that the developers invested a lot of love into the detailed world.
If you are an explorer type RPG player like me you will love this game as you can find lots of small and carefully crafted sidestories far away from the main path.

This one is for you if you enjoy flying in a beautiful low-poly world full of shattered islands floating around.
I would also categorize this one as kind of child-safe as you do not fight anything and there are almost no frightening scenes.
The developers manage to tell the beautiful story with nice words and accompany it with a very nice soundtrack.
The riddles are quite easy, but not always obvious and you need to be able to do some jump and run passages, also landing from flying on (or even near) the spot you decided is not easy.
You cannot "die" in this game, rather you will be teleported to a safe location from where you can start again.
All in all the only negative aspect for me is that the game is a bit on the short side. It took me roundablut 4 hours to complete - with all achievements.

Nice game, also for beginners, I do recommend it, but try to pick it up at a discount.

Wow. What a twist.
If you like puzzles and exploration this game is for you, but be warned that there is not a really happy end (if you got the feels for such things).
The maps and game mechanics are very nice and each section of the game has it's own look and feel which is tied together by the story which finally unfolds at the end.
If you like the exploration kind of gameplay this game is foor you and I found the time I played this game quite ok for the price I payed.
Replayablility is low, once you managed to complete the main story line and collected the achievements, but overall a very nice and well done game. Looking forward from more done by these developers.

Well done successor of the Myst games.
I was a Kickstarter backer and am very pleased with the outcome of the game. The developers managed to pour all their experience in making realistic puzzle games into this one. It starts with a nice story, goes on with very detailed and well thought of maps and ends with obvious (and not so obvious) outcomes of choices you made.
As with all games by this developer there is no time constraint and you can (and should) explore the game in your own pace, which makes for a very relaxed experience.
One critic which comes out it that the ways you need to go between the puzzles can get a bit long, but I found that not so much of an issue,a s this enables you to explore corners and details you might have missed.
Added bonus is that the developers not only made a Windows version, but also a Mac and VR version.
