What a twist at the end!
This one I can recommend if you like puzzle solving and exploration games with a grain of horror gameplay.
The story is well layed out and keeps you captive to the end, the map is very detailed and with the very well thought out teleport feature you are able to explore every niche and corner (and you should, as there are _loads_ of secret areas). From the game time point of view it cound have been longer, but overall it was ok for the price. Looking forward for more from this developer.

Story sounded nice so I bought the game.
The visuals are nice and the designers managed to capture the sights and stories of a small british town near perfectly.
But: You cannot run (and you cannot jump) and have to literally crawl through the map from one hint/hotspot to the next. Exploration is only so much fun if you can count the minutes you need to get from one house to the next. That killed my enthusiasm for this game and I finally had enough and requested a refund.
For an explorer type of gamer this game is quite nice on the visual side, but the walking speed feels as if they needed to add some more time to the game experience and overdid it to the realm of a time sink. What a bummer!

Early Access Review
Even after all the years I own this game, the developers are coming up with new features and bugfixes every week like a clockwork.
This game is either a space survival sandbox game (in survival mode) or a spaceship smashing simulator (in creative mode). If you like to play singleplayer or multiplayer and can come up with your own goals or like to travel through an endless game world in your own ships finding hidden creations of other players, this game is for you.
Another really cool thing is the enormous content in the workshop and the great (and proactive) support of the developers for modding.
All in all a big thumbs up.

Nice journey and story on this one. For someone who likes exploration and solving puzzles like me, it is a quite relaxed experience.
At times I would have wished for some subtile hints whether or not an area is complete and it is safe to proceed, but that's just me.
Also note that, although there is a map available in the game, it is a) optional and b) does not show, where you are. You have to find your way around by yourself.
Size-wise the whole map is not that large, but overall nicely done. They invested a lot of effort in lighting.
For me the game took about eight hours to complete.

Beautiful, near photorealistic adventure. Very dense immersion and interesting story.
Very good and unintrusive hint system that helps you with the quests.
Goodies for explorers which are not needed for the main quest line but add to the lore around the game.
Price is a bit on the high side right now, but well worth it.
