A sandbox-y survival game that reminds me of Minecraft. Besides building stuffs, I like to run around and bait the wolves to come eat me. Sometimes my big-cat-animal, named Tom, will come and rescue me. But most of the time, Tom only reaches me when I'm dying. Probably because Tom doesn't like me very much; he probably took the scenic routes just to see me die.

+ Vast world to roam about.
+ You can craft things and spell them to work.
+ Day and night transition.
+ Integrated with Steam Workshop.
+ Able to create own skins.
+ Active and friendly developer.

- Laggy on my laptop even though it meets the recommended spec requirements - Win8.1 / i7 / 8GB / GTX860M 2GB. Perhaps it's not fully optimized.
- Lack of a tutorial; took me a while to builld the damn oven.
- No mini map.
- Not too many players at the moment.

Will come back again to continue baiting the wolves and maybe spell Tom to love me unconditionally.

So sad; this story is just so sad. So good; but so sad. *sigh*

+ Beautiful Graphics.
+ Excellent soundtrack, really sets the mood of the gameplay.
+ Good story. Sad, but good.
+ Intuitive controls. I thought it would be weird to control two characters at the same time, but it worked great with my controller.
+ Got to ride a mountain sheep/goat, that was fun!
+ Story was easy to follow, even without comprehensible dialogues.

- Puzzles are too simple.
- Short, about 3 - 4 hours long.

I cannot believe that I left this game in my backlog for so long. And I am so glad that I decided to play this today. I absolutely loved it. I hated that the game made me dug a grave for my brother and buried him too, because it made me extra sad, but I loved the game in its entirety.

Worth buying at full price. A steal, if you can get it in a sale.

I had high hopes for this game after I saw the 15 minutes review gameplay on YouTube. I didn't even mind the high price tag for the supposedly short 6 hours of gameplay as I was expecting a good mystery for my character to solve. But all in all, I was pretty disappointed with how the game unfolded.

+ Beautiful graphics.
+ Very atmospheric.
+ Good soundtrack.
+ Excellent voice acting for the witty dialogues.
+ Engaging story at the start and towards the middle.

- Story didn't really deliver. It started off strong and then just fell flat / boring towards the end. Some parts were predictable.
- Very short (expected at least 6 hours of gameplay, got only 4.5hours).
- No consequences of your dialogue choices.
- No replay value.
- Price tag is too high for its current content.
- Linear. Since this is more like a walking simulator, I was expecting a bigger map, if not an open world.
- Expected a good mystery but got a flirty woman on the radio instead.

Buy it if you don't mind a walking simulator with a subpar storyline, but I simply cannot recommend it at its current price; there's just not enough content to justify the price tag. Get it only when it's heavily discounted.

EDIT: Like a lot of people, I wish there's a Neutral button that I could give it. It's not a bad game per se, it has its merits and I did enjoy some parts of it. But with its current $20 base price (less in my regional Steam store), I got about 4 hours of gameplay. Of a mediocre story line. With an abrupt 'WTF' ending that I didn't enjoy / like.

Lara vs Bear. Lara won. Lara skinned bear. Lara is awesome. Be like Lara.

+ Very pretty graphics, even at Medium settings.
+ Great Voice Acting.
+ Good story. Cliché but I still enjoyed it.
+ A lot of optional tombs to explore (which I am still doing at the time of writing, though I have completed the main campaign).
+ Sound effect is awesome. I especially love the sound Lara's boots made when as trudge on the snow.
+ Side quests, yeay!
+ A lot of collectibles.
+ Great platforming actions.

- Video performance; lagged and stuttered at many scenes.
- Some parts looked too similar to Tomb Raider 2013.
- *Feels* easier than Tomb Raider 2013.
- Final boss? What final boss?

I pre-purchased this and I had absolutely no regrets in doing that. So yes, definitely recommended! Be sure to check the hardware requirements though.

If you love Tomb Raider (2013), you'll love this one too!

Having not read any of the books or watched any of episodes of the tv series (I know, I live in a cave and under a rock), I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It made me laugh and cry with the characters, root for them and I don't think I've yelled at the monitor so loudly before; a useless attempt to try and change the course of the story. I played through the episodes in one sitting, with hopes that the story will grant me a way to kill those despicable villains. SPOILER: Instead, I found more misery for the good guys. So sad.

+ Well crafted story.
+ Good controls.
+ Great original characters.
+ Beautiful graphics.
+ Great voice acting.
+ Very engaging story. Kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time.

- The cliffhanger. Oh gods, what's with the cliffhanger!
- Rather short episodes.
- SPOILER: After all the fuss, we didn't get to see what North Grove could do.
- SPOILER: No happy ending.

I have never thought so hard about the decisions I'd make in a game. SPOILER: The game went Sophie's Choice on me and made me leave one of my favourite characters to die. I'm sorry, Rodrik, but Asher has a higher survival rate than you do. You've made us proud. *sad* .

I hate that the cliffhanger was there to make us buy season 2, but at the same time, I can't wait too. Perhaps it's now a good time to delve into the books / tv series.

"Iron from ice." *still sad*

I wanted to love this game, I really did. I mean, I actually enjoyed Episode 1, so much that I went ahead and bought the rest of the episodes of the season. But the story just got soooo draggy that I just felt annoyed most of the time.

+ Beautiful graphics.
+ Really funky music (one of the things that I really liked about this game)
+ Good controls

- Very lame and long dialogues that you just can't skip (unless it was after a rewind).
- Again, really cheesy and unbelievable dialogues. They sing so many praises of each other that I can't help but roll my eyes, everytime.
- Characters are just sooo whiny.
- Your choices don't really matter at the end.
- Puzzles are uninteresting.
- Max moves too slowly.

I got really, really, really bored with the dialogues. Most of the time, the lines were long and had no real effect / consequences to the story line. Plus, it still amazes me how the characters can have long and pointless conversation while surrounded by dangers. I mean, just say what you needed to and get a move on please, jeez! *sigh*

Buy ONLY if it's on sale (like 70% off). I would still recommend this to people who like teenage-angst stories. The game is still solid, even if I didn't enjoy much of the story.

I bought this because it's a TellTale game, despite the fact that I've never played Borderlands before.

I did enjoy it though; it was funny, the story was predictable but also good enough to keep me interested, the dialogues were funny and the gameplay is familiar for fans of TellTale Games. I also liked the fact that I was able to control two protagonists and got to see the game / story from their point of views.

+ Very, very funny. Kudos to the writers.
+ Likable characters.
+ Great voice acting.
+ Funky music.
+ Good story.
+ Worked great with a controller (XBox 360).
+ No bugs / other issues.
+ You don't have to be a Borderlands fan to play this game.

- Some parts of the story are a bit slow.
- Not much replayability for its price.

Having said all that, I don't think that this is TellTale's best product yet, story-wise. I think that honor still goes to TWD. But I enjoyed it very much nonetheless, so much that I completed the game in 1 sitting. >.<

A steal if you can get it on sale.

THIS GAME IS SO AWESOME!

I never quite got into JRPG (because I'm no good at turn-based games) and this was also my first Tales of game, but a few hours into the game, I was most certainly sold! After watching an LP video of the game, I was intrigued by the animation and the non turn-based aspect of the game, and when a Steam friend had a pre-order copy to let go at the original price, I jumped at it.

+ Great animation, the world is just so beautiful.
+ Great soundtrack.
+ Top notch voice acting.
+ Characters are so likable and lovable. I was hoping for more back stories though.
+ Immersive plot.
+ Vast world to explore.
+ Different skills in combat for each characters.
+ I've put 68 hours into this but I still wish it was longer.

- A lot of long running between places in a vast world.
- Camera is wonky during fights.
- Repetitive lower level enemies.

Also, about the heroine in the story, I'm glad they changed the heroine, because I really love Rose. She is just so awesome!

I'm really glad that I picked this up. Since a lot of reviewers rated the story as 'meh' while I really loved it (note: ToZ is my first Tales of game), I really look forward to Tales of Symphonia in 2016.

Meanwhile, I think I still have one side quest to finish (Katz Korner) and Alisha's DLC to complete.

SO. MUCH. FUN!

One of the reviews here said that if one enjoyed Tomb Raider, one would enjoy this title as well. I bought this game based on that review and I have to say, this has got to be one of the my favourite platformer games.

The gameplay is fun, unique and exciting. You have a magic pen that you can use to transform your environment into a platform for you to interact with and to help you on your journey to find your brother. I thought it would be awkward to try and draw things on screen with the controller, but I was wrong. It was easy and intuitive, one element that I enjoyed about the game.

+ Fun little puzzle-platformer.
+ Pretty graphics (like watching a cartoon).
+ Predictable but still enjoyable story.
+ Puzzles are mostly not too easy (though this could be a con for a kid).
+ Great voice acting.
+ Very forgiving checkpoints.
+ Tight controls.
+ Very well paced.

- Final boss fight is too short and too easy.
- Linear (though for this type of game, it is sort of expected).

I seriously hope there's a sequel. Would buy it in a heartbeat.

Be an obedient bunny. Or a renegade rabbit.
Be a ruthless robot dictator. Or a generous robot overlord.

+ Addictive and fun multiplayer game.
+ Get your minion bunnies to obey you,
+ Game can be as light or as challenging as you like, depending on your strategy: go all out and shoot everything is sight or play the manipulation card.
+ Responsive developer.
+ Cute bunnies!
+ Annihilate said cute bunnies!

- Tutorial could be better / longer, though you can always learn as you go along.
- Lack of players, though there are still bots to play with while you wait. Not as fun, but getting those bots to worship you is very good for your ego.

Hopefully more people will pick this up as I'd love to play against more human players. Will definitely want to continue playing this, especially in a full server.
