.｡*• My thoughts on some franchises •*｡.

𝓢𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓼 𝓡𝓸𝔀 - Absolutely amazing. This one doesn't get talked about as much as it should, and that really sucks. Saints Row 2 is one of the best games ever, even though the Steam/PC port is really janky and broken, and it had a super tragic backstory behind it. We can't really talk about Saints Row without mentioning Volition and Deep Silver. Basically, the franchise got 'worse' as it went on, due to some behind-the-scenes drama stuff going on. The Third and IV are really enjoyable, but definitely not up to the same standards as 2 and even 1. Saints Row is super fun to play in multiplayer, which is still possible for 2, 3 and 4, but 4 is really prone to crashing and you need a few mods to get it working on 2. The Third is your best shot there. The Reboot is really bad and it 100% killed the whole franchise, even though earlier in development it was supposed to be a much better game. The world map in the Reboot is actually pretty fun but everything else about it really sucks. This franchise is so tragic because of the way it got pretty much butchered. It started amazing and gradually got worse, until it died. I'll still forever cherish it, though. I love so many of the characters and the story, and it's just pure unfiltered fun.

𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓔𝓵𝓭𝓮𝓻 𝓢𝓬𝓻𝓸𝓵𝓵𝓼 - Super iconic. Oblivion is deadass my comfort game and I won't ever forget it. Skyrim's pretty good too, but I still prefer Oblivion aesthetic-wise. These games have so much interesting lore and cut content, too. There's Morrowind too, which I like, but it's a pretty difficult game to get used to. I like modding Morrowind more than anything lol. There's a lot of characters I really enjoyed in these titles and honestly, the modding community is keeping those games alive, if anything. I hope Oblivion gets a properly functional multiplayer mod sometime, which it just might! There's a project being worked on by user @ColeDevingo on YouTube, and it looks insanely promising.
