Game of the Year, every year! You don't have to understand freedom to spread freedom!

If you know how to sail, I bet this is a great game. For someone who doesn't and twice just barely manages to get going in the right direction then gets within view of the dock then the wind dies and you boat won't move at all, no matter what ropes you pull for how long or how far you steer to either direction, you just sit there... and you've run out of food and water and you're about to pass out it's a solid rage uninstall. Not worth the stress for the casual internet sailor. Shame.

When you get things just right it's wonderful. The problem is that happened twice for me in 5 hours. The other 4 hours and 59 minutes was nothing but stress and struggle.

Update:
Put in another 5 hours and while I've got a better handle on how to sail now, I still end up in aggravating situations 1/3 of the time. It's a nice game, made with passion, but the difficulty is steep and frustrating even sticking to simple "sail south a bit, then sail north a bit" simple routes much less all the other amazing journeys others with more skill will be able to enjoy from this experience.

The 1.0 release has really done well in making this feel like a much more well rounded game. The Supplies gameplay is fantastic with every vehicle being able to be useful. The helicopters feel free with the new skids/gear compressing on landing being a great way to allow hard landings be a joyful story instead of a fiery end!

Best RPG in decades.

In around three minutes I was able to make a 5 room dungeon with about 10 clicks and get it imported into Foundry VTT complete with Walls and Lights! By far the easiest, most intuitive, and beautiful map maker I've used. Also includes a fantastic first person view for wandering around your creations to get video or images from angles never before seen and cam import Hero Forge minis! This is good stuff.

Fantastic version of the old favorite storytelling game! Much easier for new players to grok and enjoy.

I saw a name flash by during world gen that I looked up in Legend's Mode later on. Azstong was a goblin fisherman turned author of several.. questionable quality books. She was murdered! So I looked up the murderer, a human with the plan to kill all of his decedents. He was killed by another goblin and had no children. But he had a wife! So I looked her up.. and the name was familiar! She was Azstong's apprentice!

Clearly the apprentice wanted to be the master so had her husband murder Azstong! So, I vowed retribution on just everyone's family. Goblins and other humans had taken care of the job for me (all of this happened 200 years before I arrived) but.. i did find a long lost cousin's bandit group which was still around. So I found out where they live and embarked nearby and once I raise an army... they are gonna pay for what their ancestors did to some poor goblin two centuries ago, I swear by rock and stone!

Such a great game with an amazing developer who is constantly improving the experience. I've never spent so much time just watching a roomba clean up smudges and loved every moment of it!

You shouldn't have a player rage quit your tutorial...

The MG range targets never reset so i couldn't finish it.

Left and Right click commands apparently mean different things with the same style icons just at different times. Like you have to Right Click with a box/arrow icon to crew a weapon but you have to left click with a box/arrow icon to leave the weapon.

The special forces range had a gate that wouldn't open, so your guys path outside the area when you tell them to get into position, then you're warned if you leave the area (which you already did) you can't complete the course.

The repair tutorial has no indicator or timer so you just watch an animation wondering if it's doing anything.

The tank tutorial starts you facing one way, so you go that way, but you were actually supposed to turn around and know to shoot targets behind you.

The refueling tutorial has 4 cans, you have 4 people, but as soon as you tell any other guy to do something it stops the orders for the previous guys.

There's no mention of camera controls or unit selection mechanics, just "use your clicks".

The game seems to be pretty neat, but it's too frustrating and inconsistent to enjoy.

It's actually kind of hard to play this game because you're smiling so much at how cute it is. Arf!
