Its really fun to play with friends, and theres plenty of online lobbies so you can be ever playing with more people, theres events and new stuff from time to time, the DLC's gives lots of cosmetics / characters / cards that you can use in-game, but by the game rules you will have no tactical advantage by having it, so its pretty fair.
