A great Metroidvania game, in the vein of Symphony of the Night. The built in randomization modes make it in many ways a superior version.

I cannot say enough good about this game.

edit: Many many more hours in, this is my favorite game I have on Steam and that is really saying something.

another edit: I continue to play this game despite hundreds of other games in my library. The Randomizer setting makes this a nearly endlessly replayable joy. The cosmetic DLCs are great and help keep the game fresh for me. My current fun challenge is to use Miri (the Magical Girl DLC) and require that I keep and upgrade the armor and communicator that changes the status bar.
