This is a shockingly well done remake of the classic Silent Hill 2 from 2001, which Bloober completely nailed in almost every respect, including paying every single said respect to the original it is faithfully remade from.

There isn't much to say about this game that most people who are even tangentially aware of this game or horror gaming in general already know, but for those that are aware of this game even if they haven't played it... they've heard people talk about it, they've watched videos on it, they've seen its inspirations in horror games for twenty years, they've heard a streamer essayist talk about how it changed their life forever, etc. Forgetting all that, if you know nothing about this game then simply buy it, play it, and walk into the fog blind right now. 😶‍🌫️

An actually unforgettable experience, carrying James' story to its conclusion is something you will not ever forget - so much so that playing this now was as if I replayed memories from yesterday.
