The practically perfect remake.
I first experienced the original when I rented it at Blockbuster Video in 2001, bought and played it more times than I can count. The remake changes just enough to keep the game-play feeling fresh and new, while also not straying far from the original premise, story, and aesthetic. Some people may be unhappy with certain character design changes, or other minor narrative beats. But the game is packed full of easter eggs, throw backs, and new and old theory spinning segments, and clarity.

I cannot lie, I was sceptical as many were when I saw the first trailer, as Remakes rarely tend to live up to the nostalgia people have of their first experience of a beloved game from their past. But this one, I loved it. 10 out of 10. Bloober Team really took their time and put some much care and attention into this remake. Aside from the occasional hiccups in performance, which can be easily solved with tweaking your settings a little, the whole experience was great.
