So imagine - you are in the middle of episode in bad guy's hideout, hiding in the shadows, stealthy as usual. Bad guy appears and he got your friend as a hostage! He yells out loud "I know you are here, Batman! Show yourslef!"
You got 4 options to choose from: "Show yourself and say herioic line", "Show yourself and say threatening line", "Show yourslef and say something neutral" and "...". So you assume that by choosing "..." you will do nothing and keep yourslef hidden, so you can do some stealthy moves and approach him from the back to make a strike...but it doesn't work like that. You just show yourslef and say nothing.

That's the problem of this game - there is no choice whatsoever - all your actions doesn't affect story at all. Its not a game, its an interactive movie. And that's incredibly sad!

Telltale version of Batman is very interesting, old characters got redesigned in all means and get a new life. The story is good and makes you want to see some more (mostly by putting cliffhangers at the end of episode as usual) but there is no game into it, its just a movie where you can choose a few replics.
It would be a huge success if it would be just a movie with different view on Batman universe, but they made a game out of it and its sucks. Whatever you choose - story won't change, you can just choose "..." all the time and pretend that you are Ryan Gosling from Drive and still beat the game with same result as anyone else.

Still fine catch if you get it on discount, but meh. Also there is technial problems that hasn't been fixed in 1.5 years after release date, random framedrops and things like that. Nothing critical, but something that you will surely notice.

AND FOR THE GOD'S SAKE - THERE IS STILL NO WAY TO SKIP "Next in *game title*" AND "In previous episodes" SCENES. Its 8th TellTale game since first season of Walking Dead.

One of the best casual games i've ever played, very good balance between challenge and casuality and just incredible story for the game of this genre. If you see it on discount - take it and you won't regret it for sure
