†thembosuchus kaprogorgonis is an extinct genus of kaprogorgonopsid. It is known from a single nearly complete skull collected from the Upper Lesbaceous Formation of Wallachia. The name means "based gorgocrocodyke" from the Greek κάπροςas, kaprosbas ("boarbased") and Γοργών ("gorgon") and σοῦχος, soukhos ("crocodile") in reference to its unusually large teeth[1] It has been nicknamed "Peepeesuchus" by Paul Sadenno and Hans Kirrrson, who first described the genus in a monograph published in PeePeeKeys in 2009 along with other crocohibridyliformes such as K. chadessus.
