Absolutely disgusting practises and should not be allowed on steam, I am most disappointed in steam for allowing this. All you want to do is play Warzone, you go to the WARZONE steam page. You download 100GB of data, after which you can launch the game but cannot actually play warzone ( but you can play other COD titles IF YOU PURCHASE THEM), but you are instead forced to perform another download (thru steam mind you, not even an patch/update in their launcher, its another full 35GB from steam ).

After first download, I could launch the game, was met with unskippable cutscenes, then forced to observe the battlepass mechanics and forced to decide which battlepass setting to use, and given the option to buy the battlepass for the game I cant even play yet, just in order to access the main menu.

Having finally reached the main menu I am told I cant play the actual game I pressed to download (warzone) and need to exit the game and download more.

Should not be allowed on steam in its current set up, absolutely predatory tactics.
