Just a little review from me.

I tried it during Free Weekend offer from Steam on Jan. 17th. Thank you, Steam!
The developer have done their best on this product and I really appreciate it.
Good graphic, quite fast loading, and stable operational.

Eventhough I have an old mainstream rig, I still able to run it with high display setting without any lag nor problem.
My simple rig is:
AMD Phenom II X4 955BE, stock HSF, ASRock 880G Extreme 3,
Thermaltake 630W PSU, 2x4GB Patriot PC3-12800 CL9 DDR3,
MSI nVidia GTX 660 2GB DDR5, and some 7200rpm SATA3 HDDs.

All with the latest drivers in my Windows 8 x64

But unfortunately, somehow I cannot have 1080p 60Hz as fullscreen. Only 59Hz.
So from the information on the web, I have to set it as non-fullscreen to achieve the optimal display.

The technology tree in this version Civ was kinda confusing.
As it is a different planet/time experience, it reminds me of StarCraft II.

Yes, it was kinda different experience.
Meet other civilization, making building, finding techs & units and so on still related to the Civilization genre.

But, for the real taste of Civilization, the Civilization V still unbeatable.
You might want to try StarCraft II if the battle zone you after.
