A wonderful atmospheric exploration game with a story.

I'm charmed by the voice acting and character portraits. I love the story and the way the way it unfolds as you explore, and that it's about finding alien life and not blowing it all up.

You get some choices about how to proceed through the cave. Optional parts feed back into the central narrative instead of feeling like pointless side-quests.

The gameplay is quite light, but satisfying enough. Avoiding hazards provides some challenge, but death is uncommon and doesn't punish the player. The game is not overly long and it is very good about letting you stop anywhere and picking up where you left off.

There are a lot of things this game is not (e.g. flashy or fast-paced), but I love it for what it is.
