it's just a hack and slay in disguise of a fighting game.
why even bother defending when you can just pick characters with broken homing moves with up to +7 (?) on block and start mashing your head against your controller.
you will most likely clip your enemy when they are using intended defending options such as sidestep and if not then your braindead mash will fill them with so much frustration that they won't bother trying anymore.
